Scheessel shooting: Four dead including child, German soldier arrested after shots fired
Four people - including a child - have died in two shootings in northern Germany today, with one soldier arrested in connection with the attack. It is not clear if the shootings are related at this time.

00:20 The deadly assault happened in the early hours of Friday morning in the small community of
00:25 Schessel, near the city of Hanover.
00:28 A security operation was carried out near the barrack after the soldier surrendered

00:33 It centered on a car in which a petrol bomb and ammunition stocks were discovered.
00:40 The area was declared safe after the vehicle was examined for explosive devices.
