Texting cop crosses the centerline

Today, March 1st, 2024, my parents were driving - incidentally, in the exact area where a bad wreck with injuries occurred just two weeks ago - when they observed a vehicle round the curve across the centerline. It happened to be a detective with the local sheriff's office - incidentally, the same one my car's rear-facing dashcam captured crossing into oncoming traffic behind me in Septermber 2021, which I posted under the title "Protect and Swerve." It doesn't show up well on video, because this is an older dashcam, but my parents both observed the detective to be texting.
