00:00 There's so many people in Cambodia that have no idea what's going on.

00:05 They think that there's sex going on, but they don't understand about the torture,

00:09 the severe abuse that these girls go through.

00:12 There are over a hundred brothels on the street.

00:16 Some people are quoting 80 to 100,000 women here who are being commercially sexually exploited.

00:26 In 2003, IJM successfully advocated to do a large intervention in Svay Pak.

00:33 But we were aware, especially being on the ground here, that really the story had not ended.

00:38 Myen was in this brothel in Svay Pak the day that IJM made a raid.

00:45 When they are rescued, it's just the beginning of their life.

00:48 So aftercare is their journey.

00:51 Aftercare alone wasn't the answer, and we realized that we needed to be part of the prevention end of it.
