The Gyesera is Karma Automotive's first all-electric model since the previously announced GSe-6 never went into production.
The Californian brand has finally managed to introduce the new Gyesera in Amelia. Described as a "bridge to the future" for the brand, this four-door grand tourer is a heavily revised version of the Revero and features an all-electric powertrain and a range of 250 miles.
Karma notes that nearly all of the Gyesera's exterior body panels have been redesigned, except for the rear quarter panels. The 199.9-inch (5,077 mm) long model has a more stylish appearance, characterized by a sharper and grille-free nose, new air intakes in a sculpted profile, transparent taillight lenses and a modern rear bumper.
Despite the upgrades, proportions and greenhouse remain the same as previous iterations, including the GS-6 and Revero plug-in hybrids. In fact, the backbone of the design is reminiscent of the original and short-lived Fisker Karma, which was introduced in 2011 and retained the same low-slung silhouette. On a side note, this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Chinese company Wanxiang Group's acquisition of bankrupt Fisker Automotive and later renaming it Karma Automotive.
Looking inside, the dashboard layout may feel familiar to the old Fisker, but there are a few notable upgrades. The steering wheel also looks new, while the center console has been revamped with a larger infotainment touchscreen. Additionally, there are no decorative parts on the front panel and the Gyesera emblem is located on the right side.

The new battery pack has a capacity of 120 kWh and has a range of over 250 miles (402 km). The Gyesera is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 590 hp (440 kW / 598 PS) and 693 lb-ft (939 Nm) of torque. The Karma is said to do 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in under 4.2 seconds and top speed will exceed 217 km/h (135 mph).
The release of Karma Gyesera is planned for late 2024 or early 2025. Pricing is expected to be in the $175,000 to $225,000 range, according to previous statements made by Karma Automotive's president. Overall, the company aims to produce 2,000 EVs over a four- or five-year production period at its Moreno Valley facilities in California and maintain a level of exclusivity.
Gyesera will be followed by the two-door electric sports car Kaveya, which was previewed last year and is expected to go into production in late 2025 at the earliest.
