00:00 Shannon Doherty is rehashing more past drama from the set of Beverly Hills 90210.
00:05 During a conversation on her Let's Be Clear podcast with fellow 90210 star Brian Austin Green,
00:12 the actress recounted her on-set tiff with co-star Jenny Garth.
00:16 The fight stemmed from an on-set prank gone wrong. Jenny was doing, she was calling it "pants down
00:21 day" where she would pull the pants on some of the crew members in a funny way,
00:25 but some of them were getting pretty annoyed with it. In response, Doherty said,
00:29 "I reversed it and I said, 'skirt up day,' and she always wore the men's Calvin Klein
00:33 boxer shorts under her clothes, so I didn't think it was that big of a deal. And so I did skirt up
00:38 day and oh my God, she lost it on me, and I was just not in the mood to back down."
00:42 Green and Doherty also discussed the tension between the female 90210 castmates in general,
00:47 with Doherty saying, "It was always awesome to me that the boys got along so well. You guys were
00:52 always very supportive of each other and congratulating each other, and it wasn't
00:56 necessarily the same with the girls." It's no secret that the cast wasn't always buddy-buddy
01:01 during their time on the series, which ran for 10 seasons from 1990 through 2000.
01:06 Green validated Doherty's sentiments, saying, "I feel like you're sugarcoating that situation a
01:10 little bit. I remember it got really rough and competitive for you all. That was not an easy
01:15 situation to watch." Doherty's comments came about a month after she last made headlines for issues
01:20 with her charmed co-star Alyssa Milano. For more details on this story, head to THR.com.
