00:00 With Ronnie Eve and his barbers now at Manor Lane in Hartlepool, I believe you've received an award from the Lord Lieutenant for your services to the Armoured Cadet Force in Hartlepool?
00:09 Yeah, I'm quite ecstatic to be fair. It's not very often you get a meritous service, a certificate for being recognised for seven years of good service with the Cleveland Armoured Cadet Force. I'm quite pleased.
00:23 Your work that you do at the Cadet Force, what does it entail?
00:28 I'm a Company Sergeant Major for the Cleveland Armoured Cadet Force and basically it's welfare and discipline. It entails looking after 160 cadets within a company and making sure the day-to-day running is going okay and all the detachments are doing fine.
00:46 How are the kids to watch you? You've been there a while now?
00:51 Yeah, seven years now. To be fair, we have quite good relations with the cadets. So it's just basically as long as they're enjoying themselves and having fun whilst learning everything about the British Army, then that's all we're achieving. You know, they're getting their grades, their star levels and it's all good.
01:08 Congratulations.
01:10 Thank you very much.
