00:02 I'm Travis Cronin here at Us Weekly Magazine,
00:04 and we have made it to the big time.
00:07 It is the biggest night in Tinseltown, the Oscars.
00:10 And the party isn't only inside the Dolby Theater.
00:13 There are also a lot of gifting lounges, VIP experience,
00:16 and swanky after parties.
00:18 So let's take a look at what the stars will
00:20 be doing on Oscar night.
00:22 First up, the acclaimed Vanity Fair Oscar party.
00:26 Now, this is one of the parties with the biggest A-list stars
00:29 changing into their after party dresses,
00:32 hitting the red carpet, and rubbing elbows
00:35 with all of Hollywood's elite.
00:37 This marks the party's 30th year anniversary,
00:40 taking place at the Wallace Annenberg Center.
00:43 Now, there will be the fabulous red carpet
00:46 and the famous portrait studio presented by Nespresso.
00:50 You can take place in all the action, too,
00:52 watching along for the live stream red carpet hosted
00:55 by Tam France and Michelle Buteau.
00:58 As Jay-Z famously said, after the show, it's the after party.

01:04 Directly following the Oscars, guests
01:07 will be headed to the Governor's Ball,
01:09 just a short walk away from the Dolby Theater.
01:11 They will be treated to high-end cuisine provided
01:14 by Wolfgang Pupp, live performances, aerial acrobatics,
01:18 and just general revelry.
01:21 The great thing about the Governor's Ball
01:22 is that every single winner has to bring their Oscars trophy
01:25 over to get it engraved.
01:27 That's right, the statue that the stars receive is blank,
01:30 and they walk over to the Governor's Ball
01:32 and have their Oscar shined up and engraved with their name.
01:36 So A-list celebrities are a guarantee.
01:39 Another party featuring their 30-year anniversary
01:42 at the Oscars is Guy Oseary's party that he
01:45 hosts with his client, Madonna.
01:47 Now, this party takes place every year.
01:50 Guests really don't show up until about 1 AM,
01:53 and the party goes until about 5 or 6 AM.
01:56 Jennifer Lawrence has notoriously drank so much
01:59 that she is thrown up in the bushes,
02:01 so this is a place where celebrities
02:02 really let their hair down.
02:04 Be sure to see the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Miley Cyrus,
02:08 and tons of the stars from the show
02:10 as they get into their late-night hijinks
02:13 with Madonna.

02:17 Yes, the Oscars are a place where celebrities get freebies
02:21 just for being famous.
02:24 This year, the GBK Brand Bar will
02:26 be hosting its free gifting suite pre-Oscars
02:29 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel the Friday and Saturday
02:32 before the Oscars.
02:34 This ultra-exclusive pre-Oscars luxury in the past
02:39 has gifted high-end watches, handbags, trips, and experience
02:44 to all the presenters and the nominees this year
02:47 and select VIP entertainers.
02:50 Guests will walk away with high-end swag
02:53 from Mont Blanc, Tag Heuer, Balenciaga, St. Laurent purses,
02:58 and the list goes on.
03:01 This location will also be giving away stand-up arcade
03:05 games, amazing pieces of art, free stays in villas
03:08 and Turks and Caicos, with a grand total of $85,000
03:13 in swag being given away per presenter or per nominee.
03:18 Sometimes it really does pay to be famous.
03:21 Well, Beyonce and Jay-Z's Gold Party
03:23 has quickly become the go-to after party for the Oscars.
03:28 Ever since starting the party four years ago,
03:30 it has grabbed the hottest celebrity A-list clientele
03:34 to attend their event, the likes of Kylie Jenner, Natalie
03:38 Portman, Leonardo DiCaprio.
03:40 Every presenter and winner will be
03:42 clamoring to get into the Gold Party this year, whose theme
03:45 has not been revealed yet.
03:47 But the previous year paid homage
03:49 to Beyonce and Jay-Z's hometown of Houston and Brooklyn.
03:54 Now, you can't just be a famous face to get in there.
03:56 Notoriously-- and we will not name them--
03:58 celebs have been turned away at the door
04:01 for not meeting Queen B and Jay-Z's high expectations.
04:07 This party happens every year at the Chateau
04:09 Mermont, a famous hotel in the LA area.
04:12 And while it is luxurious with A-list clientele,
04:15 Chrissy Teigen once shared that it's pretty casual,
04:18 and they had pool tables set up, and it is extravagant,
04:21 but not stuffy.
04:23 So that will be the party to watch this year.
