Minecraft Villager Crop Farm_ Fully Automatic Tutorial

00:00 How to build an automatic villager farm in Minecraft.

00:06 By the end of this video, you'll have an endless supply of food right here at your

00:10 base.

00:11 So I'm going to start by outlining each farm with a bunch of glass.

00:13 You can see I have this area here, I'm going to split it in half, and have glass on this

00:17 side for one.

00:18 And the bigger you make your farm, the more food you should get, but I wouldn't give it

00:22 a bigger radius than nine.

00:23 When you're building these glass walls, you don't want to place blocks in these spots,

00:27 but I have silk touch so it didn't matter for me.

00:29 So next you want to find the center of the farm, which is here.

00:33 You're going to replace this with a slab, and you are going to waterlog it.

00:37 You're going to put a composter on top, and I'm going to use glowstone.

00:41 You can use blocks with torches, or sea lanterns, or shroomlight, or whatever, and you're going

00:45 to light them up like this.

00:47 Now it's time to plow the field and plant the crops.

00:49 I recommend using carrots and potatoes for villagers, however if you want to try and

00:53 get bread, you can plant wheat, but you're going to have to give the villager a bunch

00:56 of stacks of bread, otherwise they're going to use the composter a bunch and mess with

01:00 seeds and it's really annoying.

01:01 So now I have to build this again on the other side.

01:14 So now we're going to go to this cross section right here, and on your entrance side, you're

01:17 going to replace this with a chest, and you're going to break these as well.

01:24 You're going to place a hopper that goes into the chest, and then two hoppers that go into

01:30 that hopper, and then you want to place your rails on the sides like this, and make sure

01:34 they're pointing horizontally like this.

01:37 Next we're going to want to cover this up with some blocks, and then we're going to

01:40 want to put some trapdoors around it, like this.

01:47 And then we can break those.

01:49 And I'm going to put a minecart in this one, and now I need to push him in there.

01:52 Now villager farms do have a very slow startup, because they need to fill their inventories

01:56 with food, but if you want to speed this up at the beginning, all you have to do is give

02:00 them a few stacks of carrots or potatoes or whatever they're planting.
