00:21 with up to 78mm of thickness. The Matilda was slow but reliable, and proved effective in
00:26 supporting infantry attacks, especially in the North Africa campaign, where it was able to
00:31 withstand most of the German anti-tank weapons. The Matilda was produced from 1937 to 1943,
00:37 with a total of 2,987 vehicles built.
