Get a headstart customizing your Arisen and Pawns to your liking in a character creator before trekking across sweeping vistas with your trusty party of four while battling (or fleeing from) fearsome monsters in a swath of harrowing quests in Capcom’s highly-anticipated sequel open-world fantasy RPG, Dragon’s Dogma 2, coming to Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC and PlayStation 5 on March 22.

00:34 "Dragons Dogma 2" is a narrative-driven,
00:37 open-world action RPG set in an immersive fantasy world.

00:48 Join forces with pawns skilled with various weapons
00:51 to form a party of up to four.
00:54 While this is a single-player game,
00:56 forming parties will recreate the feel
00:58 of being on an adventure with friends.
01:01 Players will encounter legendary monsters
01:03 as they venture through the distinct areas of the game.
01:07 Some monsters fly through the air with dynamic attacks,
01:11 while others are more cunning and mysterious.

01:17 Some appear at night,
01:19 and others are colossal in nature.
01:22 They will create a variety of challenges for the player.
01:25 Test your decision-making ability and creativity
01:28 using your vocation and the surrounding environment.

01:36 Of course, you can always choose to run away.
01:40 If you run somewhere occupied by other characters,
01:43 you may end up naturally joining forces.
01:47 But reactions will vary character to character.
01:50 Some will be frightened, while others will show courage.
01:54 Their relationship with you, the Arisen,
01:57 will vary based on the actions you take.
02:00 That, in turn, will change their relationships with each other.
02:05 A variety of characters await you
02:07 on your journey through Dragons Dogma 2.
02:10 Over 1,000 characters inhabit the world,
02:13 each with their own unique stories and motivations.
02:17 They will sometimes ask for your help,
02:19 marking the beginning of a new quest.
02:23 Quests have an array of different objectives,
02:25 from saving people being attacked by monsters
02:28 and avoiding detection as you sneak into a location,
02:31 to locating and delivering valuable items.
02:35 "Ah, I see you desire one of my masterpieces. Very well."
02:41 In some situations, combat isn't your only option.
02:44 One alternative might be to make a counterfeit item
02:47 and see if you can pass it off as the real thing.
02:51 The world is a complex web of human relationships
02:54 and the players' choices have consequences.
03:01 We've expanded the world of the original game
03:03 to make it a denser, more elaborate experience,
03:06 enabling players to fully inhabit the role of the Arisen.

03:47 Starting today, players can create and edit their Arisen protagonist
03:51 and main pawn in the Dragon's Dogma 2 character creator in storage.
03:59 Of course, you'll be able to transfer the character data
04:01 to the full version of the game.
04:04 Up to five Arisen and five pawns can be created.
04:07 This is the perfect opportunity to prepare for the adventure
04:10 before the release of the game.
04:12 Furthermore, we are planning to have some of the pawns
04:14 created by specific players as official pawns.
04:19 Players will be able to hire up to two of these pawns
04:22 to aid them on their journey.
