00:00 So tomorrow we don't have quite the schedule that we had last Saturday, but we do have the big one between North Carolina and Duke.
00:10 So let's show all the big games tomorrow, but I got to start off with that one.
00:14 There's just nowhere else to start.
00:15 Iowa State at Kansas State, Kansas at Houston, Kentucky at Tennessee, Baylor at Texas Tech, and then we've got the showdown.
00:24 Two teams in the top ten, North Carolina, Duke.
00:27 Let's break it down, coach.
00:29 I mean, what do you think ends up happening in this game?
00:30 I mean, North Carolina is the higher ranked team at this point, but you kind of throw everything out the window and expect that with two minutes to play, the game's going to be what?
00:39 You know, two points, three points, four points, and it always comes down right to the end.
00:44 Yeah, it's going to be a fantastic game.
00:47 And then obviously, we people know that this has always been the case, that they always end the regular season with this matchup.
00:54 And obviously, they flip-flop where the games are played.
00:58 But to me, you know, I do lean North Carolina.
01:00 I just think they're a little bit more consistent than Duke.
01:04 Duke has been up and down.
01:05 Remember, they even lost at home to Pitt.
01:07 So I think this is a big match for Duke and a big match for both teams that are really jockeying for position.
01:12 You know, I think the winner of this game could have a solid claim for a two-seeded NCAA tournament.
01:17 And you want to see where that two-seeded is.
01:19 You probably want to see, hopefully, you know, you find a way to get up to that highest two-seeded, which would probably be, you know, Arizona, Tennessee is probably that one.
01:29 You probably want to line yourself up there because you want to try and stay away from the one line of being Purdue or UConn or Houston.
01:37 So I think that's a big game.
01:38 But, you know, there are a lot of other, you know, games tomorrow that are really intriguing.
01:44 I think we have to see what happens with Kansas.
01:47 This Kansas team has a team that was number one in the nation preseason.
01:51 It's not played well, especially on the road.
01:53 They go to a Houston team.
01:54 But, you know, listen, especially on the road, they kind of just survive and advance a little bit.
02:00 So it's interesting to see what happens there.
02:02 I think Tennessee, Kentucky should be really interesting.
02:06 Does Tennessee try to slow this game down versus a Kentucky team that can run up and down?
02:11 And Iowa State, a team that's really making a push to maybe make a Final Four, folks.
02:17 They go on the road to a tricky spot versus K-State.
02:20 Iowa State 18-0 at home.
02:23 Can they get themselves another big win this time on the road?
02:28 They are another team that's looking at possibly a two-seed, depending on how they finish up.
02:33 Really fascinating games as we come down the stretch.
02:37 Remember, folks, low to mid-major teams, they're in their conference tournaments starting already.
02:43 The next week, folks, this is it.
02:45 This is championship week.
02:47 It's going to be so much fun in college basketball as we are, you know, a week and two days, I should say,
02:53 from Selection Sunday, which I will be on with Ben Stevens for three hours of coverage.
02:58 Yeah, afternoon basketball during the NCAA tournament and next week.
03:03 So we'll have it covered for you right here on Newswire.
03:06 Before we go, Coach, you mentioned one thing that I wanted to ask you about.
03:09 Baylor's at Texas Tech.
03:10 Iowa State is at Kansas State.
03:12 We've seen a lot of unranked home teams beating ranked teams this season.
03:18 I mean, I think it's just generally speaking, this happens also in college football, as you'll see.
03:23 But do you think we're seeing a lot more of that this year in particular?
03:25 It seems like fading the ranked teams going on the road has been the way to go.
03:30 It is the way to go when it's ranked versus unranked,
03:34 especially when you look at games that are short spreads, five and a half or less.
03:37 Generally, you'll just take the home team.
03:39 That's why I wouldn't be shocked if Kansas State and Drumdang pull off an upset at home versus Iowa State.
03:45 And that's why the Duke game is just different because that's Duke and Carolina.
03:50 You throw all the records out, that's just rivalry game.
03:53 Line them up and see who's the better team.
03:55 But yeah, for most parts, you know, you want to take that unranked home underdog
04:00 because more times than not, not only do they cover, Craig, they usually win.
