00:23 In 2022, we launched the ESG Positive Impact Awards,

00:28 creating a credible platform for companies

00:30 to demonstrate their sustainability commitments.

00:34 Through a series of webinars, clinics, and workshops,

00:37 the awards actively fostered thought leadership

00:40 and encouraged collaborative action

00:42 among SMEs and large corporations.

00:45 The result, an overwhelming response

00:48 from companies spanning nearly 40 different industries.

00:52 These include manufacturing, financial services,

00:56 healthcare, banking, trade, food and beverage,

01:00 and property development.

01:02 This year, we are reuniting with OCBC Bank and our partners

01:07 to continue showcasing companies at the vanguard

01:10 of their respective industries.

01:12 I'm really, really grateful for the awards.

01:13 It was a very tough journey.

01:15 When I started, nobody believed that ESG or environmental

01:18 is an important issue that we need to solve.

01:20 And now I will continue to work hard to create more impact

01:24 and inspire the younger generations.

01:26 So we have been on the ESG journey

01:27 for more than 15 years now.

01:30 We began with a water project,

01:32 which was taking care of the water resources

01:34 behind our brewery.

01:35 And today our initiatives cut across,

01:37 right across our entire value chain,

01:40 looking at how to minimize our environmental impact

01:43 and how to make a positive impact on the society around us.

01:54 peers, and the people of Malaysia.
