00:00 Well, Londoners know their experience of the Conservatives. They know that the last Conservative
00:05 mayor cut the policing budget by more than 28%, both the real terms cuts and the cash
00:10 term cuts. Londoners know the experience of a national Conservative government is a cut
00:15 in the Met Police budget by 32%, more than a billion pounds taken from London's policing.
00:20 Why should this Conservative be any different? We also know that this Conservative has voted
00:25 against many of our policies that have supported London's communities, for example, voted against
00:31 the budget that gave £163 million to address the issue of violence against women and girls,
00:36 voted against my budgets that have doubled the investment in the policing from City Hall,
00:41 so it's now more than £1.148 billion, voted against some of our policies like the independent
00:47 Victims Commission has done a brilliant job over the last eight years. So, Londoners know
00:53 you know, lepers don't change their spots and Tories don't change theirs either.
