00:00 I've been in woodturning since 1968, right.
00:06 I enjoyed every minute of it.
00:08 I still would love to carry on doing it, but I'm afraid sickness is taking over.
00:13 I've got a collection of 20 odd grams of quality items here,
00:19 which I'm going to donate to somebody who turns up with £10,000
00:23 so they can raise money for charity.
00:26 We started Wigan Woodcraft Club in October 1995.
00:31 We got up to 70 members.
00:33 Sadly, I've been in every position on the committee, right, so I know what it's all about.
00:38 And sadly, on Covid, I had to walk away.
00:40 My wife was very privileged, and I'm catching up with her now,
00:44 giving her all the time she needs.
00:46 I love making, and I love helping people make it, right,
00:49 and getting back to beginners and starting out,
00:52 because you need to address the woodturning career,
00:56 you need to address every part of it first.
00:58 And it's not cheap to start out, it's quite costly,
01:02 but it's enjoyable, right.
