00:00 Here's a good one out west. The team that sits in the fourth spot, the LA Clippers. Big victory
00:04 last night in Chicago. Second leg though of a road back to back for the Clippers now in New Orleans
00:10 where the Pells see themselves as a seven and a half point favorite. New Orleans the fifth seed
00:15 currently in the Western Conference standings. The Pells were a seven point favorite a couple
00:20 of nights back against Cleveland. The Cavs went into the big easy, won outright big as an underdog,
00:26 snapping a four game win streak for New Orleans. But the Pells had covered in all four consecutive
00:31 wins. Parnes, when you see the spread at seven and a half in favor of the Pelicans, what does that
00:36 tell you about the expected outcome tonight in the big easy? Well I'll tell you first off, it tells
00:42 me immediately that I don't think we're going to see James Harden play for the Los Angeles Clippers.
00:46 I mean that's the first thing. He's been ruled as questionable, missed last night's game. You know
00:50 the Clips have been heavily dependent on him obviously, especially with the absence of Russell
00:54 Westbrook. So now you're going to lean on the Paul George and Kawhi Leonard type combo. But
00:58 for me what it really means for the Pelicans is that they're starting to hit their stride. And I
01:03 think if you've watched this team all year, you've been able to see sort of the stardom that they've
01:07 had sort of behind the scenes, right? I mean Trey Murphy III has been a guy who's stepped up
01:12 tremendously for them. He's been one of the most efficient three-point shooters in the league this
01:16 year. I like his points over in this one specifically. I think in particular there's a
01:21 number of Pelicans players that can really push the envelope tonight against a banged up and kind
01:25 of battered Clippers teams in a way. But I was kind of shocked to see this be the massive kind
01:31 of favorite slide that it is. Minus 300 outright for the Pels tonight. But this is just going to
01:36 be a fun matchup top to bottom. I mean both teams, some of the most efficient shooting teams in the
01:41 league. Both top 10 in field goal percentage. But Kawhi Leonard I think is someone to watch tonight
01:47 as the hours go on as we get closer to tip off. Especially if Harden gets ruled out. Because
01:52 right now his points total sitting at 24 and a half. If that can jump about two or three or four
01:57 more up, I think an underplay is heavily in consideration. Especially where it sits right
02:02 now at minus 119. But the Clippers here, if they are able to cover, I think it's beautiful for the
02:08 bettors that take them. But I think that anybody who's looking for money line wagers, it's probably
02:12 the Pelicans tonight. They're just so, so efficient at home.
