00:00 So I went to the Renaissance tour four times and she was sitting on the piano and she was singing
00:06 on one plus one and she you know glances over she catches my eye she blows me a kiss
00:15 and she continues singing and my heart just ah every time I think that while she's given me
00:25 me enough and she can't top herself she just continues to to strive and to work her work
00:32 ethic is just beyond anything because she's already accomplished everything that anyone
00:38 you know can ever accomplish but she just has a love for her art and she has a love for her fans
00:44 and she appreciates the love that we give her and I think that that this whole project has
00:54 is just a huge love letter to to her fans. I really admire Beyonce for
01:01 raising the bar consistently and going against the grain in regards to what I guess people
01:08 expect her to do. As a black person and as a black artist myself to see Beyonce effortlessly navigate
01:17 these different mediums of music that we aren't typically associated with most of the times we're
01:24 associated with R&B and hip-hop which is not a bad thing but we started a lot of these other genres
01:31 definitely country music and so to see Beyonce effortlessly navigate these other different genres
01:37 of music is very empowering for someone like me to see and it's very inspiring for someone like me
01:44 to see and to also know that I can do something like that. For country music I'm very very excited
01:51 in particular because country music is very polarizing in America at times in regards to
01:57 who is considered to be the gatekeeper for that particular genre. There's not a lot of love from
02:04 the inside towards the outside unless country music fits a specific format that they're
02:11 comfortable with but I love the fact that Beyonce is also paying tribute to the country music that
02:16 people have fallen in love with over the years but also challenging it in ways that reflects really
02:22 who she is and her personality while also sort of being the bridge for this sort of return for
02:33 African-American individuals into the forefront of country music to add Beyonce's country album
02:39 into that discussion really highlights the entirety of African-American history when it
02:46 comes down to country music and that's what I'm excited about specifically. I'm already looking
02:51 into getting a cowboy hat and cowboy boots I'm just gonna be it's gonna be you know the yeehaw
02:56 summer so last summer was Barbie so this summer is gonna be get your boots on.
