00:00 >> No, this guy is throwing you into it.
00:02 >> Why were you unable to work out today?
00:05 >> Just took my hamstring a little bit.
00:06 >> Do you have a private workout now as well?
00:09 >> Yeah.
00:10 >> When will that be?
00:11 >> I plan on early April.
00:12 >> Are you looking forward about that, getting to work out more in the private
00:17 setting, and what are you not looking forward about this process kind of being
00:21 extended a little bit because of your injury?
00:23 >> Yeah, I mean, a lot of it's training for sport and stuff, and
00:27 I'd rather just be training for football.
00:29 But I mean, it happens, getting faster.
00:31 So I mean, yeah, I'd rather be working out here with all the guys.
00:35 And doing it today, if that happens.
00:39 >> Like a little easier than Mary's, if you're there with you?
00:42 >> Yeah, yeah, kind of anyone else who wants another workout, I'm allowed.
00:46 >> How long before you were able to talk to him?
00:48 When did that happen?
00:50 >> Happened about two weeks ago.
00:52 >> Obviously, you didn't do anything on the field in Indianapolis, but
00:56 walk us through that process and what that was like.
01:00 >> Yeah, Indy was cool.
01:01 I mean, it was long days, but it was good.
01:04 Just certain days we had media and medical stuff, and
01:08 then a bunch of interviews and meetings at night.
01:11 So yeah, it was good.
01:12 It was long days, but it was good.
01:13 >> The conversations that you've had with the team so far, GMs,
01:16 coaching scouts, whatever.
01:18 What do they wanna know the most from you?
01:21 >> I think a lot of it just is, one, questions about medical stuff.
01:25 I mean, that's kind of the main thing they dig into, like ankle,
01:29 cuz it just happened.
01:30 And then also just what kind of person I am, and yeah, that's about it.
01:36 >> How difficult is this to get teammates to work with you?
01:40 You're not here.
01:41 >> Yeah, it's tough to stand out here watching,
01:43 cuz I wanna be out there and doing stuff, but it happens.
01:47 >> Brock, how is, are you feeling, clear, how is that feeling?
01:52 >> Yeah, no, it's full 100%.
01:54 I mean, I've been pretty good, but yeah, it's been good.
01:57 >> From the combine in here, have there been any [INAUDIBLE]
02:00 >> Yeah, I mean, we're all poke funny.
02:06 So I mean, I was happy for Tykee and Bolin, all them.
02:11 I heard Kamori ran good today too, and then Ladd obviously ran fast.
02:15 I always tell Ladd we could race, and I'd be in, but I don't know.
02:18 I don't know about that one.
02:20 >> What is it about Georgia that prepares you guys as a team and
02:24 has prepared you specifically for the league?
02:27 >> Yeah, I think it's all about the mindset and stuff coming here.
02:31 I mean, we work so hard every single day, and I feel like the coaching and
02:34 the people that are around, especially practicing against.
02:37 We were practicing against so many talented guys and gifted guys, so
02:40 I think that helps a lot in the development process.
02:43 >> What are you gonna miss about playing here and practicing here?
02:47 >> I think I'm just gonna miss all the dudes.
02:49 I mean, it's tough to go our separate ways, but
02:52 I mean, it was awesome to see everyone again today.
02:55 And yeah, I think I'm gonna miss most.
02:58 >> What was your reaction to Chris Brown, the unfortunate middle of the tournament?
03:01 Did you just reach out to him and say, hey, coach, I'm here for you?
03:04 >> Yeah, I reached out to him and see how he's doing.
03:06 I mean, that's tough.
03:06 I mean, you always wanna play football at the highest level, and he made it.
03:11 And he was able to play one season, so it was good for him.
03:16 But I feel bad for him.
03:18 >> Brock, were you talking to him today?
03:20 I guess you were in a tape, were you talking to him on tape today?
03:23 >> Yeah, I was just walking around, just hanging out, I guess,
03:26 and talking to some people.
03:28 >> Brock, they say it's all on tape with you.
03:30 Clearly, you did miraculous things at Georgia.
03:33 But is there a competitive urge for you to compete in some of these field events,
03:37 like you said?
03:38 Or is it just part of the duties of preparing for the NFL?
03:42 >> Yeah, definitely.
03:43 I wanna be out there competing against dudes.
03:44 And I wanna try to, I mean, beat everyone's time.
03:49 Who knows, I don't think that's gonna happen.
03:50 >> Well, you mentioned that a second ago.
03:52 You kinda set the bar for yourself at 4-3.
03:54 >> No, no, yeah.
03:56 Yeah, I did.
03:57 It sucks being on the sideline watching.
03:59 >> How many team visits do you have scheduled?
04:01 >> I mean, I'm still working on scheduling all those right now, so yeah.
04:06 >> Brock, on Oscar, obviously he had an opportunity to kinda replace you down
04:10 the stretch, but now he's the old guy in the room.
04:11 What advice have you kinda given him as stepping up as that next leader and
04:15 as that next go-to guy at tight end?
04:17 >> Yeah, I think a lot of it he's learned through the last few years.
04:19 I mean, it's just kinda instilled in him.
04:21 I hope he can translate it all to the next guys and
04:25 just keep the tradition going at tight end.
04:27 >> And then with a guy like Jane Riddell, what have you gotten to see from him,
04:30 especially coming in as a young freshman?
04:33 What have you gotten to see from him as a pure ability standpoint?
04:36 And what do you think of his players so far?
04:38 >> Yeah, I mean, I haven't been able to watch much.
04:40 I've only been back a week, but I've not heard even, he's been working hard and
04:44 running fast in all the workouts.
04:45 I mean, I'll have heard good things.
04:47 >> Have you researched the
