The group represents Massachusetts politicians. The tall guy in the middle of the five is Mitt Romney, who was MA's governor at the time (In all fairness, the 'Big Dig' was a mess he inherited). Mihos didn't win the election. The 'Big Dig' was an enormous highway project that pushed the main highway that runs through Boston underground, beneath the city. It was supposed to cost $2.8 billion. The final price tag was more than $22 billion by the time interest on borrowed money was added in. Congressman Barney Frank asked, "Rather than lower the expressway, wouldn't it be cheaper to raise the city?"
