00:00 Well today, Maurice Blackburn is very proud to announce that we have secured a $271.8
00:13 million settlement in the Uber class action.
00:16 If approved by the court, this will be the fifth highest class action settlement in Australian
00:22 legal history, which puts beyond any doubt that we have held Uber to account.
00:27 For small businesses or mum and dad investments, this was a win for taxi drivers, taxi operators,
00:37 high car operators and the result today I'm very pleased with as it hasn't been done before.
00:49 We suggested that Uber acted illegally and they needed to pay and that they have today.
