00:03 Again, the Boilermakers have failed to reach a Final Four in 44 years.
00:09 Since 1980, the past 43 NCAA tournaments, more than four decades.
00:16 And in that span of 40 plus seasons, DRS, they've only reached the Elite Eight and
00:21 fallen short in the regional final three times.
00:24 Most recently, 2019, when they lost to Virginia,
00:28 who was bouncing back from losing to a 16 seed the year prior,
00:32 on their way to winning a national championship.
00:35 >> And also you're taking a look at a Purdue team here.
00:37 Most of the time it's guard centric.
00:39 That's really how you win in this day and age in college basketball.
00:41 But you do have a throwback player in EAD,
00:44 which sometimes can be very good in an NCAA tournament.
00:47 The teams I'm not looking forward to betting are the teams that are saying,
00:50 look, if our three ball doesn't go down, we can't score any other way.
00:53 They're a lot of fun to begin the tournaments with,
00:55 because when they're hot, they can win.
00:56 But we know six straight games of knocking down 40 plus percent from three point
01:01 range, Ben, at volume in different environments here, it's not gonna happen.
01:04 And it won't happen here.
01:05 It's nice to have Zach Eady where every time down the court, you have a mismatch.
01:09 So if you just want to throw it on the block, turn around, lay up, throw it on
01:12 the block, turn around, lay up.
01:13 And if he's making his free throws, which he has been,
01:15 let's just say at a 70% clip in March Madness, they are going to be a tough out.
01:19 Which means the upset should be there.
01:21 This is what's so hard to fathom, Ben, over the past couple years.
01:24 Like Eady is supposed to be upset proof, but I don't mean upset like,
01:28 they're favored by three and a half points.
01:29 They just got upset.
01:30 I'm talking 15, 16, 20 point favorites, because you always have that automatic.
01:35 Just throw it down low.
01:37 Nobody can defend them.
01:38 They're all six, five as their base,
01:39 basically top big men in most of these smaller conferences here.
01:43 So you don't have those throwback plays.
01:44 Hey, we got a guy seven foot one that can get in this way.
01:47 That's not gonna come to later down the line here.
01:49 Purdue should cruise into at least the sweet 16 for me here, Ben.
01:53 I'm not worried about what they did the past two out of three years.
