Transcript
00:00 Augmented reality is letting people get up close and personal with zoo animals.
00:06 At this year's Smart City Expo in Taipei, a team from the southern city of Kaohsiung
00:11 is using new tech to break barriers and establish the world's first smart zoo.
00:16 We designed a lot of virtual animals so that people can do art.
00:19 Using AR glasses and 5G, zoo-goers can interact with animals digitally
00:25 and learn more about them through educational games.
00:27 We can connect with animals through 3 people through 5G.
00:32 We can also experience different kinds of fun through games.
00:36 Outside of the zoo, these technologies have more to offer
00:40 and can be seen in art shows across the country.
00:43 Kaohsiung's deputy mayor says the new applications deserve to be seen
00:47 in more entertainment venues in the city.
00:49 These technologies are still being used.
00:52 We are even considering using these technologies in our own Kaohsiung train station.
