00:00 - Hi, I'm Emma. - Hi, I'm Finn.
00:02 - Nice to meet you. - How are you guys?
00:05 - Good, how are you? - Very well, thank you.
00:08 - You're so beautiful. - You're so gorgeous.
00:09 - Oh! - Oh my gosh, and your eyes are like...
00:11 - Sorry, you're like really pretty. - Oh my goodness!
00:13 - And I really like your outfit. It feels like it'd be like really soft.
00:17 - Sorry. - You've just become my favorite person ever.
00:20 - Yeah, thank you so much. You have gorgeous eyes.
00:22 - Oh, thanks. - Sorry.
00:23 - It's okay. I mean, you're gorgeous yourself. Gorgeous.
00:26 - Anyway, sorry. - You're scrapping.
00:28 - Finn, you look great. - What about me?
00:30 - You're like just kind of, you know, just a very cool style about you.
00:34 - Look at you, you're Tom Brown. - Equally, you guys are looking great.
00:38 - Thank you. - Sounding great.
00:39 - Making a great movie as well, guys. You can just do it all.
00:44 Tell me, first of all, how much fun was it busting ghosts with the originals?
00:48 Because I would lose my mind. I grew up on those films.
00:52 - Surreal. I know, you know, we all would kind of look around going,
00:55 "This doesn't make any sense. We have to do this alongside them."
00:58 They're the real ones. - Yeah.
01:00 - So I think we all just kind of treasured it, treasured the experience.
01:04 They were so nice and, you know, they're the greatest people.
01:08 And so they were funny and welcoming.
01:10 - Your brain doesn't really... - Compute.
01:12 - Yeah, right? There's a weird thing that happens.
01:15 Like, we're all hired to do a job and play a role.
01:17 And yet the actual thing that's happening doesn't escape us.
01:22 Like, we're all sitting in the Ecto-1 and we know we're in very rarefied air here.
01:26 Not many people get to ride around in this car.
01:29 And so to kind of embrace the job we were hired to do,
01:33 but then also really recognize and appreciate the complete bizarre nature of it all,
01:40 because we also have been seeing this our whole lives.
01:42 Me, I was... I mean, I was... I wasn't even that young when the original movie came out.
01:46 So it's, you know, it's such a huge franchise with such a storied history
01:53 that to, yeah, to stand around and be amongst the OGs and all of the other stuff is...
02:00 - Amazing. - We gotta... It's a constant battle to keep our cool.
02:03 - You're very much stepping up into, I think, more of a parent role as well in this film.
02:08 Is Paul very much like a dad on set as, like, just being Paul?
02:12 - He's very protective. He doesn't let me out past eight.
02:15 - Yeah. - We have early calls and you guys need to get to sleep.
02:19 - Yeah. - Weirdly for McKenna, you're way more relaxed. I don't know why.
02:23 - I'm his favorite. - Right.
02:24 - And I can see why, 'cause you won me over. You're my favorite.
02:27 - Thank you. Honestly, I really like this interview and I like the way this is going right now.
02:33 - So, Finn, you're my second favorite.
02:36 - God, I'm not winning anyone over. - Third. Third. You're third.
02:42 - That means you're third. - That means you're third.
02:44 - By the way, I'm fine. I'm just happy to be here. Look, I'm garbage. I know it.
02:49 I know this. I think everyone kind of does. - Everyone thinks so.
02:52 - Everyone walks in the room. - Yeah.
02:53 - These two are great. They're the best.
02:55 - However, though, Paul, when you are playing that role within the film,
02:59 I very much get, even in real life, you are the parent who's the nice...
03:03 I don't... Sorry, and I don't know your wife, but I feel like you can't be...
03:05 - Oh, no, she's brutal. She's angry.
03:09 - I'm an authoritarian, but too much so.
03:12 - Right. - I sound like, "Look, it's one thing to discipline our children,
03:15 but you are an ogre right now to these poor kids."
03:21 - So you are the nice one. - Am I the good cop?
03:23 - Yeah. - No, I think I'm the...
03:26 She's the present cop and I'm the one that's off having meals at Joe Allen's.
03:32 - Wonderful. - He has fake kids. Yeah. He's out with his fake kids.
03:35 - Yeah. - Right. Yeah.
03:37 - I have a nice relationship with my fake kids. - And he's not even present there.
03:41 - Yeah. Most of the time I'm checked up. - Even with the fake kids.
03:44 - I have a lot of emails to return. - Five years of emails.
03:48 - By the way, you're not far off. - I know. I know.
03:52 - You still haven't answered my email. - I'm getting to it.
03:55 - I just have to say, how much fun do you have reciting/singing the Ghostbusters song?
04:04 - Yeah. - Because I would be doing it all the time if I was on that set.
04:08 - Yeah. It's non-stop. Paul... I mean, the thing is that he just would non-stop sing it over and over and over again.
04:13 - Right? - Yeah.
04:15 - That's why he's teeing you up. He's teeing you up, Paul. He teed you up.
04:19 - I don't know. - He really set it up.
04:21 - No. No. No. I don't mean to set it up. It just... You're just... It was a constant thing.
04:26 - That was like your thing. - And the reason why you signed on to the film in the original...
04:29 ...was because you were going to do a performance of it at the very end of the movie for the Edmund Kroll credits.
04:34 - Yeah. - They cut it.
04:36 - Understandably so. I get why they did. - We got the closest we were going to get then in this.
04:40 - And it's also in kind of a skin-tight lycra. It's like a model after the Ghostbusters suit.
04:48 - And by the way, you can see everything. - I think that's why they cut it.
04:51 - Right. Right. - Speaking of cutting it...
04:57 - Eight days after I was born. - Wait. Eight?
05:01 - Eight. I think that's what it is, right? Eight? - I don't know.
05:04 - I feel like this interview is taking a weird turn. - It's taking a fantastic turn.
05:08 - Who are you going to call? The Moyer-ess?
05:11 - I have to go. - By the way, doesn't make you feel good.
05:16 - Love this room. Love this room. Love you guys. Thank you so much. - Thank you.
