00:00 We're at the Startup Mahakum with Union Minister Piyush Goyal.
00:03 Sir, we're walking, we're doing a walkthrough.
00:05 What are you seeing in terms of the energy and the sectors that are on focus here?
00:10 Who could have ever imagined that India's startup ecosystem presented at one place at one venue
00:19 can generate so much enthusiasm, so much energy.
00:23 This is the future of India.
00:26 This shows you that our young men and women truly, if given the opportunity, can do wonders.
00:34 And Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very, very clear in his vision
00:37 that India is going to be led by our youth.
00:41 India is going to be led by our women of substance.
00:46 And over here, you can see some of the bright young minds,
00:51 boys and girls coming up with innovative ideas
00:55 and showcasing what India truly is all about.
01:00 I think any startups that are standing out for you?
01:06 Sorry?
01:08 Any startups that you've seen that are...
01:09 No, I think each one is better than the other.
01:12 So I truly believe that this is only the beginning.
01:18 It's the first time this has been attempted anywhere in the world.
01:22 And this will be the forerunner of many such engagements.
01:28 We plan to make the startup Bahakom an annual affair.
01:32 And going forward, India will become the hub of innovation.
01:37 India will be showcasing to the world year on year, even bigger, even better ideas.
01:45 And I have absolutely no hesitation in predicting.
01:50 Going forward, India is going to show to the world innovation at affordable prices
01:56 and truly help to make the life of every citizen better.
02:02 Ease of living is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra.
02:06 And going forward, we will make sure that ease of living
02:10 is available to every Indian in this country.
02:14 How big a role do you think startups will play in India's $5 trillion economy goal?
02:19 First of all, the $5 trillion is at our doorstep.
02:24 We will be the world's third largest economy in Prime Minister Modi's third term,
02:30 maybe in the next three, three and a half years,
02:33 when we will cross the $5 trillion GDP mark.
02:35 Going forward, we expect to double the economy every year over the next 25, 30 years
02:44 and be at least a $30 trillion plus economy by 2047.
02:49 That's the power that new India, that's the power that young India is demonstrating here.
02:56 We have over 1,500 odd startups who are displaying here.
03:02 We have almost 5,000 future entrepreneurs,
03:05 young men and women from colleges across the country
03:09 who are coming to specially visit the startup park.
03:13 We have nearly 2,000 plus participants in the various seminars, conferences,
03:19 which cover different sectors.
03:22 And we have some delicious filter coffee, if you would like to have it with me.
03:26 And this is India's very own filter coffee, which will going forward,
03:35 I think, take India to the world in terms of branded coffee.
03:41 We'll make sure we give Starbucks a run for their money.
03:43 That's super.
03:44 We have Cafe Coffee Day also.
03:48 And we have many entrepreneurs, excuse me, Prashant, please move out.
03:54 We have Prashant Prakash from Axel here as well.
03:57 Sir, main person who has conceptualized this whole conference,
04:02 and was really put in hours and hours of his own personal time
04:07 to make this entire event a grand success.
04:10 Prashant, would you like to add something?
04:12 No, I think this is really going to set a benchmark for not an Indian event,
04:16 but a global event.
04:17 And like Piyushji said, this next year has to be bigger.
04:22 And I think we want more global participation in the event next year.
04:26 How is that coffee, sir?
04:28 Well, the coffee is delicious.
04:29 I'm a big fan of filter coffee.
04:31 And I suspect that we'll make sure that this reaches the entire world.
04:37 I wish this company all the very best.
04:41 I had seen it when I had gone to Bangalore for the World Coffee Conference.
04:46 And ever since I've been seeing that trajectory of growth, I wish them all the very best.
04:53 Excellent. Thank you so much, sir.
