02:13 "And they give preference to themselves over others"
02:17 They have opened their hearts for the immigrants and shared their wealth with them.
02:22 So Allah says that they have given preference to themselves over others,
02:26 even though they needed it a lot but they gave preference.
02:30 And in relation to Ahlul Bayt we read in Surah Dehr,
02:32 "And they feed the poor, the orphans and the captives in love of Allah"
02:42 It is a famous incident in which Ahlul Bayt gave their share of food to the poor, orphans and captives.
02:48 And in that the words are "Innamanu ta'imukum li wajhillah"
02:51 Obviously this is a emotional state which has been put in words.
02:55 "We are feeding you in the love of Allah, we do not ask for any reward from you"
02:58 "We do not ask for any reward from you, nor do we even ask for your thanks"
03:04 This is a different thing.
03:05 The one who is giving should not ask for thanks,
03:08 but the one who is being given should say "I do not thank the creation, nor do I thank the Creator"
03:13 The one who cannot thank the creation, how will he thank the Creator?
03:17 [Dr. Shehzaad] SubhanAllah, JazakAllah.
03:18 What will Qibla say?
03:20 [Dr. Shehzaad] Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
03:22 Absolutely, Wasim Bhai, serving the creation is a big duty and a big service.
03:28 The requirement of a human being is that he should have the feeling of other humans and creatures.
03:35 The human being who is created and then he is without any part,
03:39 without any relation, and no one cares for him,
03:43 then this raises a question on his humanity.
03:46 In fact, the word "human" itself is derived from "ums".
03:49 So if he does not have any relation with people, others, others,
03:53 then it raises a question on his humanity.
03:55 Islam has given him a high status,
03:58 it has given him the status of "fardh",
04:00 it has given him the status of "wajib",
04:02 it has given him the status of "taqaza" of faith.
04:04 So serving the creation is really a big duty.
04:08 But I would like to draw your attention to one thing here,
04:13 that to fulfill someone's need,
04:16 it can be done with wealth,
04:17 in the same way, to fulfill someone's need can be done with good advice.
04:22 To fulfill someone's need,
04:24 to speak in his favour at a special occasion,
04:27 to testify his truthfulness,
04:29 all these are different manifestations,
04:31 that is, not in any special way.
04:34 We have seen here one thing,
04:36 that in the name of serving the creation,
04:38 it is a big issue that the resources are destroyed.
04:43 Meaning that people are made "faqir" in the name of serving the creation,
04:47 people are made "bhikari" in the name of serving the creation,
04:51 and they are regularly given donations in their name,
04:54 and then the funds are used in a ruthless manner,
04:59 they are collected,
05:01 and the needy are repeatedly seen,
05:04 in such NGOs and institutions,
05:06 not all of them, but there are,
05:08 where they go and get pushed around,
05:12 sometimes the food they get is not edible,
05:15 sometimes they are asked various questions,
05:18 and various requests and demands are made.
05:22 So this is another spectacle in the name of serving the creation.
05:26 We should think about what will be the outcome of this,
05:29 if there is an NGO,
05:30 if there is an institution for serving the creation,
05:32 then it is trustworthy,
05:34 it is a trustee,
05:35 it has a very big responsibility,
05:37 that that trust is properly delivered to the rightful,
05:40 with respect,
05:41 with respect,
05:42 with responsibility.
05:44 JazakAllah.
05:45 JazakAllah, very nice.
05:46 Qibla.
05:47 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
05:49 Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his companions.
05:52 The point is that,
05:54 in the Holy Quran, Allah the Almighty has clearly stated,
05:57 (ARABIC)
06:12 He says, "It is not only a virtue to worship in the East or the West,
06:18 "but it is also a virtue to have faith in Allah, the Day of Judgment,
06:22 "the angels, and the Messengers,
06:24 "and to have love for Him,
06:27 "the relatives, the orphans, the poor, the travellers,
06:34 "help them as well.
06:36 (ARABIC)
06:38 It is not a matter of giving torment,
06:40 you should not give torment by giving this.
06:42 You should not be lenient.
06:43 Give love for Him.
06:44 What does this mean?
06:45 It means the love for the creation of Allah.
06:48 If you want to love Allah,
06:50 you will have to love His creation as well.
06:53 And this is the path that leads to the love of Allah.
06:57 And in the Holy Quran,
06:58 (ARABIC)
07:01 The person, as long as he is helping his brother,
07:08 Allah the Almighty helps him from the unseen.
07:11 And we did not read that narration,
07:13 that whoever feeds a hungry person,
07:15 he will get heavenly food.
07:17 Whoever gives water to a thirsty person,
07:19 or dresses a naked person,
07:20 Allah the Almighty will give them heavenly drinks,
07:24 and heavenly clothes.
07:26 I will second all these narrations and the last one,
07:29 that those organisations that feed people,
07:33 should feed them with good things,
07:34 but for the sake of Allah,
07:36 do not only feed them fish,
07:39 teach them how to catch fish,
07:41 teach them knowledge and skills,
07:42 so that the poor do not remain poor,
07:45 but they stand.
07:46 Qibla.
07:48 (ARABIC)
07:59 Whoever among you has the power to benefit his Muslim brother,
08:04 he should do so.
08:06 In one place, he gave this command,
08:08 and in another place, he gave the title of goodness,
08:11 that who is the best.
08:13 (ARABIC)
08:17 The best among people,
08:19 is the one who gives the most benefit to people.
08:24 The one who gives the most benefit to people.
08:27 Our religion,
08:28 connects us to Allah the Almighty,
08:31 and wants to establish our connection with Allah's creation,
08:35 so that we become beneficial to Allah's creation.
08:38 At every level, when we become beneficial to Allah's creation,
08:40 for the sake of Allah's pleasure,
08:42 we will be entitled to be the best of all.
08:47 The best human being,
08:48 has set standards for himself and for others.
08:51 The standard that the Messenger of Allah has set,
08:52 is that the one who is the best of all,
08:56 the one who gives the most benefit to all,
08:58 is in a prison for the sake of Allah's pleasure.
09:00 So, he is the best of all,
09:03 the most beneficial in this world.
09:05 And the reward of Allah's mercy will be such that,
09:07 Allah loves his people,
09:09 who are Allah's creation.
09:10 "All of them are Allah's creation."
09:12 Allah's creation is the dome of Allah.
09:14 Allah loves the one who gives the most benefit to all,
09:18 for the sake of Allah's dome.
09:20 So, we should be beneficial,
09:23 we should not harm anyone.
09:26 We should smell the fragrance of goodness from our existence.
09:29 We should have the concept of giving benefit from our existence.
09:33 So, the concept of giving benefit came to the mind of the next person.
09:36 Iqbal said,
09:37 "This is the objective of fitrah,
09:39 this is the concept of Muslim,
09:41 the worldliness of the government,
09:42 the abundance of love."
09:44 So, there should be abundance of love,
09:46 the worldliness of the government,
09:48 and we should be beneficial to Allah's creation.
09:51 We have to give benefit to Allah's creation.
09:53 But,
09:54 it should also be noted that the benefit that we have to give,
09:57 we have to give it through a legitimate means.
09:59 It is not that we start using unfair means for it,
10:02 that someone steals and robs,
10:04 and then as a defense,
10:07 that I am running a house,
10:08 I give ration to my family,
10:10 I help the poor.
10:11 So,
10:12 it will not work with Allah's permission,
10:13 to help the poor,
10:15 or to give ration to the poor,
10:16 and then to rob,
10:18 this is not the way of stealing and robbing.
10:20 The service that we have to give to the creation,
10:22 we should not do it through unfair means.
10:23 The means that are available,
10:24 those means should be lawful,
10:26 those means should be good,
10:29 and secondly,
10:29 there should not be any aspect of deceit and deception in it.
10:32 That you said something to the next person,
10:33 you took it in someone else's name,
10:35 and you are spending it in someone else's account.
10:37 The account in which you took the money from the next person,
10:39 you should spend it in that account.
10:41 Allah has made you trustworthy,
10:44 you should not do anything dishonest,
10:45 if you are taking it in someone else's name,
10:47 you will spend it in someone else's account.
10:49 This will not work,
10:49 and this will not work either,
10:50 because it is so detailed,
10:51 that you say,
10:52 this is also a good deed,
10:53 this is also a good deed,
10:54 no.
10:54 The account in which you took it,
10:56 if you took it for the mosque,
10:57 you cannot spend it in the madrasa,
10:59 if you took it for the madrasa,
11:00 you cannot spend it in the mosque.
11:02 If you took it to give to a specific,
11:03 specific poor person,
11:05 you cannot spend it in any institution.
11:07 So, the account in which you took it,
11:10 you should spend it in that account,
11:11 and beware of any dishonesty.
11:12 Keep Allah's will in mind,
11:14 that all these glad tidings,
11:16 will be obtained only when,
11:17 they are done for Allah's will,
11:19 and Allah's limits are not broken.
11:22 Only then will these glad tidings be obtained.
11:24 JazakAllah.
11:25 Thank you very much,
11:25 Ulema.
11:27 Thank you very much.
11:28 We will take a break,
11:30 and after that,
11:31 we will be back with the Fajr prayer.
