00:00 This is by far the biggest challenge of my life that I entered.
00:04 And when you put yourself out there in public, you don't know what's going to happen.
00:09 I mean, they're judged during execution, aren't they?
00:12 But they're very humbling and honoured.
00:15 And I plan to return the favour by representing my Bass electorate now, night and day.
00:21 What challenges are you expecting to face now in politics?
00:24 Well, speaking to you guys a lot, I reckon, is going to be a big part of my job.
00:29 But, you know, I think expectation.
00:33 There's a lot of expectation out there with people like myself and Jo and Nick there,
00:36 because we are known and people know well and truly all about us.
00:42 You don't leave anything out there when you're in the public persona.
00:45 And again, I mean, that has great advantages, but also people expect you to deliver.
00:50 And that's what I plan to do.
00:51 And I'll give my word that 100 per cent that's what I'll be doing.
00:55 Disadvantaged youth, obviously, is very close to my heart.
00:58 That's what my foundation is all about.
00:59 And the government's very well and truly committed to youth, with the Youth Build project, which
01:04 is awesome, through schools.
01:06 And I am really, really excited about where we can go.
01:12 And this area is an area, as I say, close to my heart.
01:16 And we need to work on it.
01:18 And this is a great, great step in the right direction.
01:21 I'm really excited about it, really.
