00:12 I mean, anything to make the Philippines, to have the Philippines have a larger presence in Paris Fashion Week or Milan or New York,

00:21 I think it's a good thing for the country.

00:23 I'm all about uplifting Filipino talent there.

00:27 And it makes us strong.

00:30 There's strength in numbers, at least unlike before.

00:33 Before, I was the only one.

00:35 I was the only one.

00:36 And then, you know, it's not even that.

00:38 It's sad that there are no Filipinos.

00:41 And now you see, there's Heart, there's Pia, Ann last year, who I love so much.

00:47 And I think it's a good thing to have more celebrities there and more personalities.

00:52 What does it mean for Filipinos?

00:54 It's basically representation.

00:57 I want Filipinos to think that anybody with a dream can go to Paris Fashion Week.

01:05 Anyone can go there.

01:06 A lot of people think it's really hard.

01:08 Of course it's hard.

01:09 It's hard because ultimately, it's the brands who will invite you.

01:13 But anyone and everyone can be there.

01:16 You don't have to be an influencer or celebrity to be a guest.

01:20 There's so many things you can do to be able to attend Fashion Week.

01:25 You can work as a PR.

01:27 You can work as staff.

01:28 You can be a press.

01:29 You can be an editor.

01:30 You can be a buyer.

01:31 Being an artista or a socialite or an influencer is not the only ticket to go there.

01:38 And don't forget, Fashion Week, it's a business.

01:41 It's a real business.

01:43 It's not just a rampahan.

01:46 It's all about supporting the designers that show there.

01:50 It's about supporting the atmosphere.

01:53 We need to sell clothes.

01:55 It's work.

01:56 It's a lot of work.

01:57 The star of the Fashion Week, don't forget, are the designers.

02:01 These are the people that spent six months slaving away and working hard to put up a collection.

02:08 This is the star of the show.

02:10 It's not the guests.

02:11 It's not the celebrities.

02:14 It's really the designer, their work, and their craft.

02:17 And people seem to forget that.

02:19 You were saying that you're happy that there are a lot of Filipina celebrities.

02:24 We're getting more and more.

02:25 And of course, we do know.

02:27 I don't know if you're aware.
