Updated Envision goes on sale this summer with new styling, updated interior and additional standard equipment
Buick has introduced the updated Envision, which adopts the company's latest design language.
The model features a significantly improved cabin with an all-new 30-inch display.
The 2024 Buick Envision will go on sale this summer starting at $37,295.
Buick's transformation continues as the brand unveils the 2024 Envision. First previewed last summer, the updated crossover adopts a new design philosophy and also puts more emphasis on technology.
The changes are immediately noticeable, as the model is equipped with split lighting units and a revised grille that is now lower and wider. These are accompanied by a new bumper, a redesigned hood and Buick's modernized three-shield logo.
The rear is much more evolutionary as it features new taillights and a slightly revised bumper. Customers will also find an updated color palette that includes Metallic Calypso Blue as well as Metallic Smoky Amethyst.
The changes are more than superficial, as the 2024 Envision now embraces a streamlined lineup consisting of Preferred, ST, and Avenir trims. This is a slight departure from last year's model, where the mid-level trim was called Essence and the ST package was an option.
Speaking of the ST trim, it features a unique grille, black accents, and 20-inch wheels finished in Carbon Luster Metallic. Buyers will also find a unique flat-bottom steering wheel.
Some of the biggest changes occur in the cabin, which has been completely redesigned and now looks worthy of Buick's premium positioning. The old analogue gauges and infotainment system have been consigned to the history books with the new, class-leading 30-inch widescreen display.
Buick says it's customizable, and owners can "prioritize their preferred views by switching between multiple widgets like navigation, vehicle information, audio entertainment, and more." The display also has Google built-in; This means access to Google Assistant, Google Maps and the Google Play store.
In addition to the large display, the Envision features higher-quality switchgear, a revised instrument cluster, and a revamped center console with a new rotary controller. The gear lever was also moved from the console to the steering column.
Elsewhere, the model is equipped with a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, additional metallic accents and updated upholstery available in a variety of bold colours. Specifically, customers will be able to order a Garnet interior with Ebony accents or a Cool Gray interior with Slate Blue elements.
Among the highlights are upgraded front and rear seats designed to provide a "stylised yet comfortable experience." The crossover also comes better equipped, as buyers will find a standard head-up display, multi-color ambient lighting, and a nine-speaker Bose audio system.
