Donald Trump's lawyer, Todd Blanche, mistakenly subpoenaed the wrong Jeremy Rosenberg for Trump's hush money trial. Blanche intended to subpoena a former Manhattan DA investigator with the same name but got a Brooklyn man with the same name instead. The man informed Blanche he had no files and the phone number they provided was disconnected. He added, "I’m keeping the fifteen dollars,” referring to the fee provided for sending documents. Former President Trump is due to stand trial on April 15 on charges of falsifying business records related to payments made to silence allegations of affairs before the 2016 election, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
