00:00 Welcome a new cabinet and government.
00:06 The Liberals fourth term will be a very different one.
00:10 And cabinet is no exception.
00:12 The expansion of the House to 35 means more ministers.
00:16 With two familiar faces joining the fray.
00:20 It's a great honour to be appointed by the Premier to his ministry.
00:24 It's a great team full of experience and commitment and dedication.
00:30 Not only to their respective areas but most importantly to the Tasmanian people.
00:35 Other opinions were less glowing.
00:38 We've got a bunch of right wing conservatives, climate deniers, science deniers,
00:43 who are running important portfolios.
00:46 Guy Barnett's continued heavy load as both Attorney General and Minister for Health has drawn criticism.
00:53 It's clearly the case that Jeremy Rocklef has got such low level talent
00:58 that he's not prepared to spread the load of these important portfolios.
01:02 Labor's concerned about the return of Jane Howlett.
01:05 They want to know if she's being investigated over an alleged conflict of interest
01:10 from during her time as Sports Minister.
01:12 Which she denies.
01:14 Jane Howlett should stand up and say whether or not she is being investigated by the Integrity Commission.
01:20 Has Jeremy Rocklef actually asked her whether she's being investigated by the Integrity Commission?
01:25 Clearly I don't get involved in matters for the Integrity Commission.
01:29 I have confidence in everyone's ability and everyone complying with the law.
01:37 On the West Coast the new Labor leader was signalling his support
01:42 for the region's contested aquaculture industry.
01:45 I want to make sure that people on the West Coast and the North West of Tasmania
01:48 know that Labor stands for jobs.
01:50 It's very much noted that day one as leader Dean's prioritised spending time here on the West Coast
01:56 and spending time with workers in our industry.
01:58 Steering Labor in a traditional direction.
