00:00 I'm Gary, I'm one of the guys who actually works as a team to bring the beer festival to Wickham.
00:08 We've been doing it since 2008, we've raised over £170,000 today, of which £30,000 has been in the last couple of years since Covid.
00:21 We enjoy what we do, we hope we bring satisfaction to customers.

00:32 How many visitors have you had here today?
00:34 We're expecting somewhere in the region of 600 over the day and a half that we actually have.
00:41 We started yesterday Friday evening with a beer, blues and curry evening which was very successful.
00:47 Today looks as though it's going to be another successful day.

00:55 Hi, I'm Mark Gelford, I'm responsible for buying all the ciders and beers at the beer festival.
01:01 I'm glad to share with you all that we've maintained our sponsorship with Bowman this year, which we have for a long time.
01:07 We've also got Cader monthly on board this year as well, which is fantastic for us.
01:11 We've got around 32 beers available, we've also got additional 8 kegs as they're becoming more popular these days.
01:18 We started off with 4 only a couple of years ago and then we've got 8 ciders on top of that.
01:22 We've got some different beers, everything from 3% light fruity beers all the way up to an 11% chocolate and coconut stout.
01:32 We've also got somewhere in the middle, we've got some quite nice interesting beers.
01:35 We've got some smoked portas from Langham Brewery, which is absolutely fantastic.
01:40 And then we've got a lot of the more developing, more popular ones, which is sort of your hazy, juicy fruity IPAs.
01:45 So in amongst all that, we've got some classics like Pompey Royal, which has been passed down from Fallen Acorn to New Temporary.
01:52 That's going really well at the event.
01:54 And additionally, we've got some classics from around the area, so people like Power Pops in as well.
01:59 We've got Steamed Ham from the AC and a few others.
02:02 But yes, that's sort of a summary of what we've got going at the moment.
