00:03 Hello, and welcome to Insider's daily business briefing.
00:15 We're here to take a look at news stories from across the UK.
00:18 My name is Lawrence Kilgana, digital news editor,
00:21 and I'm here with my colleague Stephen Farrell.
00:24 So today, it's lots of interesting stories
00:27 coming from Insider.
00:28 Inside our announcements, we've got short lists,
00:30 we've got sold out events, and new magazines to look at.
00:35 I understand a story in the Southwest magazine
00:38 is called Your Magazine.
00:39 Yeah.
00:39 So at this moment, we've got our list of 42 under 42s
00:42 in the Southwest.
00:43 OK.
00:44 Perhaps for those who don't know,
00:45 what are the 42 under 42s?
00:47 So that's Insider's annual list of 42 entrepreneurs
00:49 under the age of 42 who are making names themselves
00:52 in the region.
00:53 OK.
00:53 And yes, I think that I've had a quick look at the list.
00:56 I think perhaps one of the most famous 42 under 42
00:59 is on this occasion.
01:00 So please tell us more.
01:01 Yeah, huge name.
01:03 Very well known name, Emma Watson.
01:04 Sorry.
01:05 Harry Potter franchise is in the list.
01:07 She and her brother Alex.
01:08 OK.
01:08 I imagine that's not for the Harry Potter work.
01:11 So what is it for?
01:13 Well, she and her brother have established Rene Spirits.
01:16 That's a gin producer down in Dorset.
01:19 And they're inspired by winemaking principles.
01:22 And they use the grape skins from their father's vineyard
01:24 to enhance the gin process.
01:26 Oh, right.
01:26 So all very innovative.
01:28 Yes.
01:28 I did actually have a look at the list.
01:30 And I saw that we had the interestingly named Exploding
01:33 Bakery and also a team of F1 engineers
01:36 who are disrupting the scooter market.
01:38 So it sounds like innovation is to the fore there.
01:41 As I mentioned at the top, we also
01:43 have two big events this week.
01:45 We have the Northwest Young Professionals,
01:48 which is sold out on Wednesday.
01:50 And we also have the Southwest Residential Property Awards.
01:54 Sticking with property, today we have
01:55 unveiled the shortlist for the Northeast Property
01:58 Awards and the Wales Property Awards,
02:00 which are coming up later in the year.
02:03 I read that Yorkshire is having a real renaissance in terms
02:06 of property.
02:07 What's been going on there, Steve?
02:08 Yes, some really, really good developments
02:10 recently approved in Leeds.
02:11 First of all, we have Wellington Square,
02:13 which is a mixed-use development of apartments and office
02:17 space in the city centre.
02:18 OK.
02:19 And what sort of height is that going to be?
02:20 I think it's a challenge for the title of the tallest
02:24 building in Yorkshire.
02:24 Yes, so 45 storeys.
02:26 So when it's built, it would be one off the tallest,
02:29 if not the tallest building in Yorkshire.
02:31 Fair enough.
02:32 And I think that's a little way behind Manchester.
02:34 I think Manchester is looking at 64,
02:36 65 storeys, the deep-scaped square, South Tower,
02:41 by Renwicker Towers up there.
02:43 OK.
02:44 And yes, we're at the start of a new week.
02:46 So there tends to be things going on.
02:47 Stock Exchange, what firms are reporting this week?
02:51 So a few have come.
02:52 In Yorkshire, again, we've got Team17,
02:55 a video game developer, and we'll
02:57 see their final results on Tuesday.
02:59 What games are they behind?
03:01 They're best known for the Worms franchise
03:03 and the Overcooked games.
03:05 One that caught my eye is EasyJet,
03:07 ahead of the upcoming holiday season.
03:10 They'll be keen to see if consumers are looking
03:13 to get flights and go abroad.
03:16 That's a trading update on Wednesday.
03:18 And anything else that you've seen?
03:20 Yes, so we've got Inspex, they're based in the southwest,
03:23 and they produce glasses and lenses.
03:25 Right.
03:26 It does what it says on the tin of supposures, Ben.
03:28 Then LBG Media, behind the Lab Bible,
03:31 reporting their results on Thursday.
03:33 Yes, the viral publisher.
03:35 Excellent.
03:35 Well, to find out more about all those news stories
03:38 or the magazines that we have upcoming or our events,
