00:00 This exhibition is part of the Clarets Collected project and it's to celebrate all things
00:05 Burnley Football Club. We put a call out to Burnley fans asking them to send us photographs
00:09 that reflected their experience of following the club. They've sent hundreds of photographs
00:14 in, we've made a selection and this exhibition is kind of a reflection of the representative
00:21 sample that we selected for people to come in and enjoy looking at.
00:25 It's open tomorrow, the 13th of April and it will be open whenever Burnley Live is open
00:31 so please just drop in. I think people were pleased to be asked in the first place so
00:35 the reaction was really enthusiastic and people looking at the exhibition have reacted really
00:41 positively. I think because it's full of smiling faces and it probably reflects the fact that
00:46 football has the potential to make people happy at times which is always nice to share
00:51 in so yeah that's been really good.
00:52 If people have got photographs that they want to donate then they can send them through
00:56 and we will try and find space to add them to the existing exhibition but if they don't
01:01 make it into the exhibition the idea is that the photographs become part of a permanent
01:05 collection that will live here at the library into the future so there's still a value in
01:10 donating.
