00:00 Joined by Jacob Brooks, it's been almost two years since the club lost one at senior footy level.
00:07 Mate, what does that mean to you and obviously the boys after a pretty big win?
00:11 Yeah, it's huge. Probably means more to the volunteers and the supporters,
00:15 especially through last year we get beat every week but they kept coming, they kept supporting us.
00:20 You see the volunteers keep putting in the work during the week and that's probably what it means to me.
00:25 But just for the group I think we've had a pretty big pre-season compared to other years.
00:30 Sort of showed today I think.
00:32 Have you kind of felt like it has been building on field?
00:35 It's been something that you've obviously had a really promising first couple of weeks but did you feel like it was coming?
00:41 Yeah, definitely. I think the first two games we played really good footy but just not for long enough.
00:46 And against Marival and Ed and Pamua it sort of hurt us a bit but today I feel like it was more of a full game effort.
00:53 100 games for the club mate, obviously not a lot of wins in there at the moment but you starting to feel that tide's turning?
00:59 Yeah, definitely. I think sort of when I come into the senior sort of program it was pretty successful but I was sort of only young then.
01:06 But yeah, I think there's plenty of good young kids around and Joey obviously helps a lot.
01:11 Well, I was going to add, what has Joey kind of added to the group?
01:15 Obviously on field pretty dominant and obviously seems to be working really well with Ben.
01:21 Yeah, he's obviously massive on the field but just at training and that he sort of pushes us to be better.
01:26 He wants all of us to be better which is going to make us a better side so yeah, we've loved Joey.
