The start of escorting Ashley. Mechanics of commanding Ashley changes as she used to follow what Leon commands is where the player ask to follow or to wait.
In this remake, she will either follow closely (Better for advancing the game and if there are lesser enemies), or spread out to give Leon space for attack (Better when been overwhelmed because it is game over if Ashley gets friendly fired accidentally).
Just like the original, the duo will eventually catch up with Luis and will be trapped in a house and will fight hordes of them until Ashley finds a way out.
