00:00 So, travel is something that is always spoken about in Bristol, especially with Bristol
00:06 Airport and there have been some new additions to the airport. Can you tell me about that?
00:12 Yeah, well Ryanair recently released their Summer 24 schedule, which includes a total
00:20 of 36 routes, which is their biggest schedule to date. Included within the routes is six
00:28 new destinations, which are Copenhagen, Fuerteventura, Marrakesh, Prague, Sofia and Tirana. And to
00:42 meet this new schedule, they've made an investment that's worth around $500 million, which are
00:50 going into five new aircrafts, two of which are game changers. So that means they produce
00:58 about 16% less carbon dioxide emissions, as well as 40% less noise emissions. The new
01:08 routes are from Copenhagen on Monday, Friday and Sunday. So that means there'll be six
01:17 weekly flights from Bristol Airport and back. Fuerteventura and Marrakesh will be on Mondays
01:25 and Fridays. Prague will be on Thursdays and Sundays. Sofia on Wednesday and Sunday and
01:34 Tirana on Tuesday and Saturdays.
01:37 And for people who are tuning in who don't know much about Bristol Airport, could you
01:42 tell me about that?
01:43 Well, it's the only airport within the Bristol area and especially during the summer period,
01:49 it's very busy and it has a lot of different links, both within inland flights and international.
