Exterior updates create a bold, distinctive and sporty look
The new Qashqai exudes a sharp and modern dynamism with its renewed design.

The Qashqai's front grille has been extensively updated to create a more striking first impression. Inspired by the patterns of ancient Japanese armor scales, it now consists of dozens of high-gloss, three-dimensional comma-shaped pieces painted in high-gloss black paint that appear to float in the space between the lip of the hood and the license plate holder. On the sides of the central section, "commas" form a triangular shape from the new headlights to a point on the side of the license plate and are covered with a "satin chrome" hot foil stamp on the top-spec version.

The new headlights bring a sense of purpose and presence along with an even sharper look. It now has an adaptable high beam module, complemented by a smaller unit for wider beam distribution, useful for improving visibility in low light conditions and fog. Daytime running lights, under the main lens, consist of five small lenses that have the same shape as the "commas" of the main grille.

At the rear, the shape of the lights has not changed, but the composition of the lights inside the unit has been redesigned. The red lighting elements now consist of four separate elements that reflect the "comma" shape of the front grille. They appear to float in the lens housing and turn a distinctive shade of red, now known as "super red", giving a sense of high sensitivity.

The bumper has been reshaped and now offers a matching colour; gloss black on high-end versions or body color in the new N-Design grade.

Similarly, when viewed in profile, the upper grades of the updated Qashqai benefit from new gloss black trim on the body below the doors and fenders.

A new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheel is now standard on the mid-range Qashqai. For higher grades, a new 19-inch alloy and a new 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheel design are available. This striking wheel range offers one of the widest wheel ranges in the segment, adding an extra dimension to Qashqai's eye-catching design innovation.

Five of the Qashqai colors (Pearl White, Deep Ocean, Fuji Red, Magnetic Blue and Ceramic Grey) are available in two-tone with a black roof for a more distinctive look.

New patterned materials adorn the center console around the gear lever and the decoration insert between the upper dashboard and the glove compartment, underlining the attention to detail that forms the basis of Japanese craftsmanship.

For an even more premium feel, updated seat coverings are used in the Qashqai's upper three grades. Most notable is the black partially quilted premium leather on the top version of the Qashqai. The penultimate level features quilted synthetic leather, finished with “burnt brown” flashes on the seat base and seat upright shoulders.
