Part of the controversial redevelopment of the Australian War Memorial can now be seen by the public. The newly designed parade ground will be used for the first time during next week's Anzac Day commemorations.

00:09Preparations are being made to host the annual parade on these grounds for the first time

00:14Tiered seating and new landscaping has been built into the expansive new southern entrance

00:20The parade ground will eventually lead visitors to the main heritage entrance, set to open

00:26The National Anzac Day Dawn Service will again be held in the Sculpture Garden on the western
00:30side of the grounds.
00:31The Stone of Remembrance is yet to be moved to its new location at the centre of the parade

00:37Veterans from the Second World War through to today are expected to march in Canberra
00:41for this year's Anzac Day.
