Louis Rees-Zammit: the former rugby star chasing NFL dream

'Rees-Lightning' has swapped rugby union for a shot at pursuing his NFL dream with the Kansas City Chiefs.

00:28 When you step into the facility, you just feel like you're gonna win.

00:41 They have obviously all that Super Bowl trophies straight ahead of you,

00:46 and just everyone in the building is so confident, they're so chatty.

00:50 You just feel like a belief.

00:52 >> He's somewhat familiar with the sport, and he sure has had success in rugby.

00:58 And there's some similarities there, it's a contact sport.

01:01 And he's had to pitch the ball and do those things and run with the ball.

01:07 >> When I went in there, I was just blown away.

01:08 I was like, wow, this is the place I wanna be at.

01:10 And I really believe in myself.

01:13 I really believe that I can come in here and make a difference to a team.

01:18 >> Well, we'll start him off at the run back position,

01:20 get him to feel comfortable with that.

01:22 Going forward here, and he's had an opportunity to also go down there

01:28 to Dallas and work with Pat.

01:33 Dave will have an opportunity to have him on special teams and see where that goes.

01:38 >> I signed a three year, and yeah, I just need to make a three match spot now and

01:43 my head is fully dived into this book.

01:47 And I'm ready to show everyone what I can do.
