00:05 Scottie Scheffler is doing it again. Brady Cannon joins us now to talk RBC Heritage where
00:08 Scottie Scheffler is a minus 140 favorite heading into the final round.
00:13 Who is that bad man? Boy, I tell you this guy, it'll be four wins in five starts if
00:20 he can pull this off. He wins at Bay Hill. He wins the players championship. Oh, by the
00:25 way, the one he didn't win, he finished second at the Valero Texas Open. He wins the Masters
00:31 trying to go back to back and win the immediate event after a major championship for the first
00:37 time since guess who, Tiger Woods, trying to win four times in five starts since the
00:43 last time that was done. Guess who, Tiger Woods in 2007 and 2008. Everything this guy's
00:50 doing is very Tiger esque as we have talked about many times here on the program, Kevin.
00:56 But I'll tell you what, we got a gift last week and I think it's because of the, you
01:01 know, the nature of the tournament being a major championship, the Masters and the competition
01:07 that was trailing him going into that Sunday. We had a nice price of minus 115, not so much
01:14 this week at minus 140. I think his chances to win are exactly the same. It's a very similar
01:19 situation. A one stroke lead, three or four guys nipping at his heels, different competition,
01:25 but still some pretty big names to hit the gala. Colin Morikawa is there again. Sepp
01:30 Strzok is no slouch. And you got some other names a little further back. Patrick Cantlay
01:34 is lurking, who has been tremendous at this tournament, but he's all the way up to minus
01:39 140 or minus 150 even this week. And I'm not saying Scott, he's not going to go on to win.
01:47 Obviously he could, but I think the price is a little bit too expensive in this case.
01:53 That being said, Kevin, I think the best price, and again, this doesn't mean the guy's going
01:58 to win, but I think the most fair price, the best value we're getting this week is on Sepp
02:03 Strzok plus 650, just one shot back. Think about that margin. You know, that's at seven
02:10 times, seven and a half times, whatever, eight times versus Scotty. And he's just one shot
02:15 back and he's played very, very well, actually had his worst round on Saturday, which wasn't
02:20 that bad. Scotty played his best round on Saturday, went really low. And that's why
02:26 it's a little bit cause for concern on Scheffler as well. A lot of times when you shoot an
02:32 outlier round like that, 63 for Scotty with no bogeys on Saturday, that's very hard to
02:38 replicate.
