00:00 "He said he's not a kid!"
00:02 [Screaming]
00:04 "Oh my God! Holy cow!"
00:08 Welcome to Ms Mojo and today we're counting down our picks for the most noteworthy, entertaining,
00:16 and/or memorable moments from the Kelly Clarkson show.
00:20 "Ariel's very sweet, she's very nice. She's also a redhead, so I'm gonna teach you about redheads someday."
00:26 [Laughter]
00:28 Number 20, 80 for Brady press conference.
00:34 In a fun twist on the usual interview, Kelly Clarkson invites her guests to join a press conference about the show.
00:42 The cast of 80 for Brady all play along as they're questioned about their time with Clarkson,
00:48 and they're able to show off their sense of humour.
00:51 Lily Tomlin in particular lights up the panel with her dry delivery.
00:56 "Oh my gosh, well that's why I didn't join in."
01:00 [Laughter]
01:02 But she's not the only one grabbing our attention, as Jane Fonda notably steals the spotlight when she asks about tight ends.
01:11 "Tight ends. I don't know what it means. Could you explain? I want one, but I don't know quite what it is."
01:23 That leads to Sally Field providing an answer that becomes an instant highlight in and of itself.
01:30 We wish talk shows would always be this funny, random, and self-referential.
01:37 "Why is it called tight end?"
01:39 "Because he's tighter in. He's closer."
01:43 Number 19, aspiring aviator meets Thunderbird pilot.
01:49 Spotlighting a female pilot in the Thunderbirds, Kelly Clarkson welcomes Major Michelle Curran to the show.
01:57 She salutes her guest's amazing career, and we get to hear about its origins.
02:03 Along with being a welcome tribute to women in male-dominated fields, this segment also links Curran up with one of her admirers.
02:12 "You aim high, or don't aim at all."
02:14 [Cheering]
02:16 "Well, I have a surprise for Amelia. Major Michelle Curran is here! Come on out!"
02:23 [Cheering]
02:26 The young Amelia can't believe her eyes, and it's clear how much her idol means to her.
02:33 Both cute and heartwarming, the interview builds to the aspiring pilot being invited to hang out with Curran on the job.
02:42 The little girl's priceless reaction is too sweet for words.
02:47 "And you're going to be at Thunderbird for a day."
02:50 [Cheering]
02:57 Number 18, Steve Carell says his iconic line.
03:02 The first episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show deserved a special introduction to the host.
03:09 It's hard to imagine a better one than this amazing reference to the 40-year-old virgin.
03:16 "No, Kelly Clarkson!"
03:18 The film's star, Steve Carell, makes a surprise appearance, delivering his iconic line one more time for Clarkson.
03:27 Fans of the waxing scene from the movie won't be disappointed.
03:31 Carell takes the microphone and busts out his best, giving the quote the gravitas it deserves.
03:39 "Ladies and gentlemen, Kelly Clarkson!"
03:43 The only thing that could make this better would be if the actor became a permanent announcer for the show.
03:51 Number 17, Cake Fight.
03:54 Making cakes is fun, and it's even more entertaining with a comedian.
03:58 Kelly Clarkson welcomes expert Duff Goldman to show her and the other guests the ropes.
04:05 Things hysterically start to break down, however, when Joel McHale improvises.
04:12 "I'm like, is this the good time? Hold up."
04:14 "Joel's doing great. Joel's doing great. Look at Joel doing great. He's got it all in there."
04:19 "What's next?"
04:21 It's also hilarious to watch the trainees dish out frosting with reckless abandon.
04:28 Plus, seeing certain ingredients get tossed everywhere, we can't help but revel in the silliness.
04:35 One thing leads to another, and before you know it, a mini food fight starts.
04:41 There's even a funny joke involving icing before it's all over.
04:46 "I'm done. I wrote it out. Carrie Underwood."
04:51 You might not want to eat some of these desserts, but you'll definitely laugh at their creation.
04:57 Number 16, An Emotional Reunion.
05:01 Presenting a feel-good story, Clarkson welcomes the stars of a viral video, Gabby and Nick, for a reunion.
05:10 For this, we spend time with the couple's moms, who describe how the clip came to be,
05:16 and discuss Down Syndrome, dispelling myths and destigmatising it.
05:21 "A big misconception are that people with Down Syndrome have to live with their parents the rest of their life,
05:27 and they need an exorbitant amount of support, where that could not be further from the truth."
05:32 Then, Gabby takes the spotlight to talk about herself and her career,
05:37 not realising her partner is waiting in the wings.
05:41 Ready with a huge surprise, Nick appears in a moment that'll have you smiling.
05:47 It's completely heartwarming in the best possible way.
05:51 He also gets to say a few words, making this one of the more touching segments of its kind.
05:59 "She's amazing, she's beautiful, and I am so proud."
06:09 Number 15, Kelly and Christina Aguilera are twins separated at birth.
06:16 After seeing this segment, we want Christina Aguilera to come back more often.
06:23 Her chemistry with Kelly Clarkson is electric, as they talk about their pasts and shared experiences.
06:31 Being from the same generation, the two joke about being twins separated at birth.
06:38 The natural flow of the conversation alone makes us want to listen for hours.
06:44 "Honestly, those were my darkest moments, because you're so busy, and you're just so down."
06:49 "I know, I've heard you in interviews, and I'm like, 'I know.'"
06:54 They also find time to laugh about their kids being spoiled compared to their modest upbringings.
07:01 They can chuckle about anything, including haunted houses,
07:06 making this an amusing yet heartfelt segment for the ages.
07:11 "I walk through haunted houses that I do for the neighbourhood."
07:16 "The last time I went to a haunted house, I literally was throwing women and children out of the way."
07:22 The duo can't stop having fun, and we can't stop having fun watching them.
07:28 Number 14, Jack Black as Bowser.
07:32 Several of the Super Mario Bros. movie cast members show up for this press tour appearance.
07:39 Jack Black, however, is mysteriously absent until Clarkson finds him hiding backstage.
07:46 In full Bowser costume, Black has a funny moment with the host as he explains his predicament.
07:53 "What's wrong, buddy?"
07:54 "I'm not going out there."
07:55 "Why?"
07:56 "Because everybody said we were going to get dressed in costumes,
07:59 and I'm the only stupid guy that got dressed in a costume, and I'm not going out there now."
08:03 She then gives him the chance to pull off a super entertaining entrance.
08:08 Knowing Black, you can tell that he was just waiting to unleash his energy.
08:14 We're really glad that he decided to do his role justice by dressing up and posing for the audience.
08:21 His co-stars might not have followed his lead, but they definitely gave him the spotlight to earn some laughs.
08:28 "I think it was like a really funny trick they played on me, like, 'We're all going to get dressed in character,'
08:32 and then they didn't, and I can't get it off now. It's like, 'Someone put super glue in there.'"
08:37 "I think you look awesome."
08:38 "Thank you, Kelly."
08:39 "Yeah."
08:40 "Okay, I'm not even talking to you guys."
08:43 Number 13, Family Reunion.
08:46 In the earlier days of the pandemic, Ally dealt with a cancer diagnosis without being able to see her family.
08:54 This wonderful segment gives her an opportunity to interact with them again in person,
09:00 as Clarkson surprises her with both her mom and later her sister and brother-in-law.
09:06 "I lied, because Krista, she's totally here. So she's with, and so is Mike, so come on out, guys!"
09:13 "Oh my God!"
09:16 You can tell by her reaction alone just how much Ally appreciates the kind gesture.
09:23 Clarkson's good deed never fails to remind us of what matters most.
09:29 Not only do we find ourselves getting teary-eyed, we also feel uplifted by the humanity on display here.
09:38 "This is insane!"
09:40 [laughter]
09:42 "I mean, I was learning things, and they did not, there was no way I had any idea at all."
09:48 "Oh my gosh, I love it so much!"
09:50 Number 12, Teddy Swim's Duet.
09:53 Kelly Clarkson is funny, entertaining, and always shines bright when she's putting her vocal prowess on display.
10:03 This segment perfectly encapsulates her talents for both performance and collaboration.
10:10 "It's taking a toll on me, trying my best to keep from tearing the skin off my bones. Don't you look!"
10:20 Her dueting lose-control with Teddy Swim's himself is nothing short of stunning, as we're mesmerised by beautiful harmonies.
10:30 Clarkson knows how to make her presence known without overpowering Swim's, finding the perfect moments to showcase her range.
10:40 And we'd be lying if we said seeing both stars belt their hearts out at just the right times doesn't fill us with joy.
10:49 "Can't you see I need the cold?"
10:58 Considering this is from a holiday episode, it might be one to come back to every year as a gleeful tradition.
11:06 Number 11, Clarkson's Son interrupts Chris Martin's performance.
11:13 "When you have to go, you have to go."
11:16 This is definitely true in the case of Kelly Clarkson's son, Remy, during this performance.
11:23 As Coldplay frontman Chris Martin sings "Yellow", Remy hilariously interrupts to make his need-to-go relieve himself known.
11:33 "I need to go to the bathroom."
11:36 Taking advantage of the mishap, Clarkson throws in a funny joke to top it all off.
11:43 "And it was all yellow!"
11:47 Everyone takes the honesty in stride as the audience laughs along with the performers.
11:53 Martin even offers up his approval in a cute high-five with the little guy, cementing this as one of the daytime talk show's best moments.
12:03 "Come on, you go to the bathroom. You go."
12:06 Number 10, getting competitive with Ariana Grande.
12:10 "Oh, oh, oh! Were you in a movie called Taken?"
12:14 "I'm quite taken by you, yes, that's correct."
12:17 "Ramney-son! What?!"
12:19 Ahead of The Voice season 21 premiere, fans got a taste of the dynamic between Clarkson and the competition series' then-newest coach.
12:30 They went heads-ahead in a game where they had to guess celebrity voices, and it was epic.
12:36 "Oh, no, is it? Oh, if I'm wrong, I'm gonna be so mad. Were you in The Flies?"
12:41 "Oh, yes, yes, my teacher. Oh, yes, of course, yes."
12:45 It's hilarious watching Clarkson get hyped up as she gives in to her competitive side.
12:51 Seeing her excitement and frustration while she tries to decipher the mystery voices never gets old.
12:59 "I am Groot."
13:01 "Oh, oh, oh, no, no, no, oh, no, no, no, um, um, um, um, um."
13:07 Grande's reaction to everything from the floating voice to her competitors' excitement and frustration is pretty entertaining, too.
13:16 The Seven Rings singer also proves graceful in defeat.
13:20 "Is it Vin Diesel?"
13:22 "No."
13:23 "It is Vin Diesel!"
13:25 "Yes!"
13:28 "Kelly has won!"
13:29 Perhaps she was just saving all that fire for the voice.
13:33 Our only complaint is that this segment wasn't long enough.
13:37 Number 9, Gwen Stefani, shares how Blake Shelton impressed her family.
13:43 If you were dropped in the wilderness and could only choose one of the voice coaches to accompany you, who would you choose?
13:50 "I feel like Blake because he, uh…"
13:52 "What the hell?"
13:53 "He's got all these… he's got all these acres of ranch land…"
13:58 "I have, like, 7,000 acres of land as well!"
14:01 Well, according to the others, Blake Shelton's a popular choice, much to Kelly's dismay.
14:07 This nicely segues into a great story about how Shelton earned the approval of Gwen Stefani's family on a trip to Oklahoma.
14:15 "I remember the first time I went to Oklahoma with my family, we are, like, from Anaheim, we'd never seen even trees before, so we were like, 'Wow, this is, like, crazy.'"
14:23 The Hollaback Girl singer even gets up and acts the moment out in order to do it justice.
14:29 "He gets in the back of the truck, he has, like, a big chain, and he pulls it out, he wraps it around the tree, and, like, pull, like, my whole family's like, 'Oh my God, he's a man!'"
14:40 Apparently, the way to plant your roots in your significant other's family is by pulling up a trunk.
14:46 Shelton's earlier comment to Clarkson probably threw more shade than the tree he moved, though.
14:53 "Kelly, you can't even beat me on your own show." "I can't even beat you on my own show."
14:57 Number 8 - A Little Bit Alexis with a Whole Lot of Kelly
15:01 "Are you ready? Let's do it."
15:04 Alexis Rose's audition for cabaret has to be one of the most iconic moments in Schitt's Creek's entire run.
15:11 "I'm a little bit, I'm a little bit a la la la la la la la, a little bit Alexis."
15:17 So when actress Annie Murphy dropped by to promote the show's final season, we were thrilled to get a little bit more Alexis.
15:25 "I'm a little bit single, even when I'm not."
15:28 As if that wasn't epic enough on its own, she was joined by the host, who got her own verse too.
15:34 "I got like 20 jobs and I talk a lot. I'm a whole lot married. My man's so hot."
15:42 Clarkson throws herself entirely into the character, and their duet is just joyous from start to finish.
15:49 It isn't just Schitt's Creek fans who love the remix either.
15:53 "The clip hit the internet, I watched it, I let out a scream that could be heard across the ocean."
15:59 If Alexis Rose ever gets a spin-off show, we totally need Kelly on it. Maybe they could form a musical duo.
16:08 "Hydra Diamond, Hydra Excess, I'm a little bit Alexis."
16:12 Number 7, Ventriloquism isn't for everyone
16:16 It's hard to believe, but not everyone finds a room full of ventriloquist dolls all that hot.
16:22 "But never in the history of the planet has any woman ever said ventriloquist, that's hot."
16:27 In this case, it provides some excellent comedic material, albeit at some poor unsuspecting individual's expense.
16:35 "So the dummies are all lined up in the main room, the first room you walk in in the apartment, they're all lined up and sitting on the walls, it's kind of creepy when you walk in."
16:41 "I mean it kind of sounds like a Dateline special."
16:43 Jeff Dunham's story about using his talents on a date will have you cracking up hard.
16:49 He talks about bringing a woman back to his place, but not quite for the reason that you might expect.
16:55 "I wanted to see her reaction when the dummy that was in the corner that I had secretly radio controlled moved when I wasn't looking and she was.
17:03 Yeah, yeah, so this is a female audience going, 'Oh, you're horrible.'"
17:07 The anecdote isn't necessarily great PR for ventriloquists in the dating pool, but it's pretty hilarious.
17:14 "I'm sitting there with her like this, and I'm looking over the other way, and I had the radio control under a pillow over here, so I moved it, and the dummy moved his head and his eyes."
17:21 Still, maybe he should just leave the sweet-talking to Peanut.
17:25 After all, the puppet seems to win Kelly over while rivalling her excitable chattiness.
17:31 "Has anyone ever said they're your biggest fan?"
17:34 "Yes."
17:35 "They are liars!"
17:36 Number 6 - Laughing with Sandra Bullock
17:41 "I'm gonna be so cool, my mom is gonna watch this and be like, 'How did you not freak out?' I'm so cool, I'm fine."
17:45 Apparently, even celebrities get starstruck in the company of certain Academy Award winners.
17:52 While interviewing Sandra Bullock, Clarkson vows to keep calm.
17:57 She barely lasts 30 seconds, though, before jokingly asking the actress,
18:02 "Did you vote for Justin or me? I'm just kidding. Don't tell me."
18:05 But Bullock's response is pretty funny and helps break the ice.
18:09 "The good thing is that you won. Does it matter who I voted for? Does it?"
18:13 The nervous fangirling adorably persists.
18:17 But it also starts to feel like we're watching two old friends catch up.
18:21 "My parents were singers, but they're both dead. It's okay."
18:24 "But they were singers though. Okay, but that's cool. Wait, you don't sing?"
18:27 "That they're dead or that they were singers?"
18:28 "No, that they're singers! It's so sad that they're dead. I'm sweating! Oh my God, this is the worst date ever!"
18:36 And it doesn't take long before the pair descend into fits of giggles.
18:40 Clearly, no matter how big of a star you are, you still crumble in the presence of your idols.
18:46 Luckily for us, it made for a pretty memorable interview and a great viral moment.
18:52 "I don't know what to do with my hands."
18:54 "So wait, but speaking, you said you don't like doing furniture and stuff like that, but do you like DJing?"
18:59 "Jesus, I love you!"
19:02 "Wiki, wiki, wiki!"
19:03 Number 5 - Dr. Robotnik and Ace Ventura meet some animals
19:08 "That's the move." "Very good, dude."
19:11 "Sir James, go ahead, put your hand out, James."
19:13 Jim Carrey knows animals, thanks to his stint as Ace Ventura.
19:18 "Is that the tank?" "Excuse me."
19:21 So you can imagine our delight when he and his Sonic the Hedgehog castmates joined Kelly for an animal segment.
19:28 Of course, Carrey turned it into comedy gold.
19:32 "The biggest sick bug I've ever seen!"
19:35 First, he hilariously identifies the rare stick bug,
19:40 before jokingly facing off against, and ultimately befriending, an actual hedgehog.
19:46 "Uh, say bye to Sonic. Robotnik, can I have it back? You think it's okay?"
19:50 The fun times don't end there, as he later introduces himself to a bearded dragon perched upon his shoulder.
19:57 "Hi, Ace Ventura, nice to meet you."
20:00 He continues to channel the pet detective when wildlife educator Coyote Peterson brings out a baby anaconda,
20:08 although he's clearly a little rusty.
20:11 "But what does a baby one look like, right?" "Yeah."
20:13 "A baby one looks just like this."
20:16 "They can be just as poisonous as the adults."
20:19 "Actually, not poisonous or venomous." "Oh, I'm in."
20:22 "No, it's a constrictor species, so they would never-" "I've never met you before, so you could say anything."
20:26 You can trust Kerry to bring hilarity to any situation, and it was great to see Ace Ventura again, even briefly.
20:35 Number 4 - Wine Tasting with Kevin Hart
20:39 "Ideally, I recommend holding by the stem. When you're holding by the stem, you're not actually-" "Oh, yes."
20:43 "If you're holding by the, by the bald, you can." "Oh."
20:46 The comedian and host got their Christmas buzz on with a wine tasting demonstration that's sure to raise your spirits.
20:54 Kelly tentatively listens to expert sommelier Ian Cobble, eager to see when she can start drinking.
21:01 "Okay, can I taste it now?" "That was, that was supernatural. Not, not, not yet. You gotta calm down a little bit." "Not yet? This is the worst foreplay."
21:08 Meanwhile, every time the camera pans to Kevin Hart, he's either pulling a hilarious face or has some witty quip ready.
21:16 "I think I'm about to drink Carl Lewis, 'cause that's what I'm gonna do."
21:19 It's guaranteed to make viewers spit out their own wine.
21:23 And this all happens before they'd even had a chance to get marginally sloshed.
21:27 "Somebody call my wife, tell her I'm coming home active."
21:30 It's by far one of the funniest things to happen on the show to date.
21:34 Yet, like a delicious red wine, it ends on a sweet and heartwarming note.
21:40 "This is 1979, this is a-" "That'll bring a tear to your eye, no joke." "Thank you, man." "That's, that's, that's for real."
21:44 "This is one of the most rare wines in the world."
21:47 Number 3 - Kelly Clarkson's Kids Interview Aquaman
21:51 In a moment that will make your heart melt, Clarkson invited two very special Aquaman fans to interview its star, Jason Momoa.
22:00 "You wanna give Aquaman a hug? You wanna give him a hug? Are you nervous? Are you nervous? Come here. Are you nervous, nervous?"
22:09 "I do. I do have kids."
22:11 Her youngest child, Remy, is a tad shy in the actor's presence.
22:15 But his big sister, River Rose, goes in for the most hard-hitting and cutest questions ever.
22:23 "Do you know a little mermaid?"
22:25 "That was her question in my office, and I was like, 'Ask him.'"
22:30 For instance, does Aquaman know the little mermaid?
22:34 She also presents Momoa with a drawing before asking something we've all wondered before.
22:40 "Where does Aquaman go to the bathroom?"
22:43 "That's what she asked in the office. 'Where does Aquaman go to the bathroom?'"
22:47 "Everywhere."
22:49 She then encourages her little brother to ask questions, but he's good with his high-fives.
22:54 "You like Aquaman. You want that. Come on."
22:58 "She's like, she's the talker, and he's the sensitive one. He's like..."
23:02 "Hey, you just chill with Aquaman."
23:04 "He's chill. You chillin'?"
23:05 If Kelly ever needs the day off, she could easily leave the show in the capable hands of her adorable kids.
23:13 Number 2 - A birth father thanks his child's adoptive parents
23:18 This interview is guaranteed to take you through a plethora of emotions.
23:24 "This gentleman beside me, this is my husband Rick. He's holding our two-year-old son, Princeton. We just recently adopted him."
23:32 "Hey, Princeton."
23:33 The Jones-Baldwins went viral following a photo shoot, celebrating the newest addition to their family.
23:40 While they're all a beautiful bunch, there's no denying that little Princeton, who was just two years old when this episode aired, steals the show.
23:50 "And you know, I was like, 'Okay, well, give him here.' And I just put him on my chest."
23:57 But while you're oohing, aahing and laughing at the toddler's antics, you'll also want to keep the tissues nearby.
24:05 The segment sees Kelly introducing John, Princeton's biological father, who thanks the Jones-Baldwins for everything they've done for his son.
24:15 "I want to thank you, Kia, and your family for caring for Princeton and just everything."
24:22 "Thank you for giving, you know, for the gift."
24:25 "No, you're welcome."
24:26 Watching their interaction is priceless and really highlights the importance of family, biological or otherwise.
24:35 Moments like this are rare, and this one's particularly remarkable.
24:40 "We got in contact with each other a couple of weeks ago when adoption was finalized, because before then we couldn't."
24:45 "Yeah."
24:46 "And I told him, I was like, 'It's time for you to meet your son and be acquainted with him, because this is our son.'"

25:09 "Some men are act rough like John Cena, some men are get buff like John Cena."
25:18 "We used to be cool when we used to come to, now you wanna act tough like John Cena."
25:22 Jemma Josie stopped by The Kelly Clarkson Show back in season one.
25:27 Naturally, the host asks her what inspired her popular song, John Cena.
25:33 The singer goes on to explain how she became a huge fan of the star while growing up in a rural South African village.
25:40 "I made the song because it's really like about, you know, because John Cena always used to say, 'You can't see me.'
25:45 So when we used to play wrestling with my cousins, I used to pretend to be John Cena."
25:50 She promises her that since the show's in its early days, they're not quite at the surprise guest stage just yet.
25:57 Or are they?
25:58 The wrestler surprises the artist while she's performing John Cena.
26:03 "Some men are act rough like John Cena, some men are get buff like John Cena."
26:06 She has a total freak out all over the place while he keeps calmly dancing.
26:19 The show's reaction and their subsequent conversation are among the best things to happen on the show so far.
26:27 "It's really cool because it's a high energy song and you can take something negative in your life and express it creatively.
26:35 And you've literally reached an audience around the world."
26:39 Did we forget another standout moment from The Kelly Clarkson Show?
26:43 Let us know in the comments below.
26:45 "So we wanted to do something special for y'all. So here we go. It's a surprise."
26:51 "Ladies, feel free to help yourselves with the secretaries. Feel free to help yourselves."
26:56 Do you agree with our picks? Check out this other recent clip from Ms. Mojo.
