00:00 Hi, I'm Gwyn, a Watch Manager in our Prevention Department.
00:06 This week is Be Water Aware Week and I'm here with a crew from Bangor undertaking water
00:12 rescue training.
00:14 If you find yourself in trouble in the water, float to live.
00:19 Tilt your head back with ears submerged, relax and move your hands to stay afloat.
00:25 If you see someone in trouble in the water, call, tell and throw.
00:31 Call 999 and ask for the Fire and Rescue Service if you're inland or the Coast Guard if you're
00:36 by the sea.
00:38 Tell them to float on their back and throw them something that floats.
00:42 Respect the water and stay safe.
00:44 [SILENCE]
