00:00 >> Okay. >> Can you picture it back in the center
00:02 equation, I know you had Johnson and Furnish in the spring.
00:05 >> I mean, you know anybody?
00:08 [LAUGH] So we have some plans and
00:12 I think there's gonna be probably the most competition at that spot.
00:19 And so I think front runners for that would absolutely be Justice and
00:24 Ty and John Paul.
00:26 So those would probably be some front runners for that as well.
00:29 >> What did you kind of, I know you haven't really gotten in the field with
00:32 them, but what does kind of John Paul bring to this offense?
00:35 >> Maturity, experience.
00:37 Again, I think there's a difference.
00:42 You have to acknowledge the difference in the levels.
00:44 But I think you can't ever, I just remember being a young coach going,
00:49 man, I can coach circles around that guy.
00:51 Well, he's been doing it for 25 years.
00:53 And so that knowledge that you gain through that experience, you can't replace it.
00:58 You can come out here, you can practice, you can go on Scott Stadium for
01:01 a spring game, and you can simulate those things.
01:03 But quarterback's still not getting hit.
01:06 There's all those, and so again, for me, it's that experience.
01:10 And he's got great leadership qualities.
01:13 And I think when he comes out here in the beginning of fall camp and
01:16 he shows these guys, hey, look, this is what I'm capable of doing.
01:20 Then I think he'll have the lead on the leadership in the line room.
