00:02 Hey Vogue, it's Serena Williams.
00:05 I'm gonna walk you through my everyday face regime,
00:08 including a little makeup.
00:11 So I have on my under eye mask on.
00:12 I'm just gonna take them off
00:14 'cause Lord knows I need moisture under my eyes.
00:17 I hear it's hereditary, so thank you, mom.
00:19 First thing I start out with is a light mask.
00:21 It soothes your skin.
00:24 So in case you have like inflammation or something,
00:26 it like kind of just calms everything down.
00:28 (upbeat music)
00:30 Now I'm gonna wash my face.
00:32 Barbara Sturm is amazing.
00:33 I like how she makes things for darker skin tones.
00:36 I'll usually do two or three pumps.
00:38 I started having my skincare routine
00:43 like when I was a teenager.
00:44 'Cause you know when you're a teenager,
00:46 you start getting pimples.
00:47 So I needed to make sure that my skin was pretty clear.
00:52 And I was always in front of a camera
00:54 'cause I was always playing tennis in some stadium
00:57 somewhere and that process,
00:58 I wanted my skin to be the best at that time
01:01 that I can allow it to be.
01:03 I actually like to air dry with my hands.
01:07 (laughs)
01:08 My next thing is Edam.
01:10 I use about two.
01:11 Actually I'm gonna use three pumps
01:14 'cause I'm gonna put it on my neck as well.
01:16 I just put it on my ring finger
01:19 and I apply that lightly under my eyes
01:23 because that's a really important area.
01:25 Whenever I'm pregnant, my skin gets really dark,
01:29 which is cool 'cause I look like I'm tanned at all times,
01:31 but my whole body changes colors.
01:34 Honestly, I think pregnancy is a beautiful thing
01:36 and I love everything that happens to it.
01:38 That's a lie, I don't love everything that happens to it.
01:40 Who am I kidding?
01:41 I can't be fake.
01:42 I get through it and I know that everything
01:45 goes back to normal at some point.
01:47 La Roche Posay.
01:48 I like it 'cause it's small, I can travel with it.
01:50 And obviously I just dot it under my eyes.
01:53 My mom told me ages ago, always go up on your skin.
01:56 I've already told my daughter who's six.
01:59 When you're washing your face,
02:00 always go in an upwards motion.
02:02 I love using this Beauty Stat.
02:04 I don't know if you know it, but it's really cool.
02:06 It's a great moisturizer.
02:08 I'm gonna grab a little bit and just kind of massage it.
02:11 I always do also a little massage when I put on my products
02:15 just to keep inflammation out.
02:17 If you're not taking out time to just do the simple things,
02:20 which I know I've honestly haven't had time
02:22 to do a lot of stuff, but if I'm not doing that,
02:25 then it's like I'm letting myself go
02:26 and I need to take time for myself.
02:29 Let's move on to makeup.
02:31 So I'm gonna start out with Wyn Beauty.
02:33 I am going at active 'cause I'm going to be running around.
02:37 I don't have time to do this full on,
02:39 glamor and carpet look.
02:41 So this goes on actually a little lighter,
02:43 but 'cause it has SPF 30 in it,
02:47 it totally takes on the color of your skin.
02:49 Watch, you can see it live.
02:51 It's the tone of what your skin is.
02:54 This skin tint was super important for me
02:57 to have sunscreen in it
02:59 because I never leave my home without sunscreen.
03:02 And when I'm playing tennis
03:04 or when I was doing that professionally,
03:07 it was so important for me to have that.
03:09 The shade range goes from darkest to lightest.
03:11 Being a personal color founder,
03:13 it's so important to do something different
03:16 and then to empower so many people that look like you.
03:19 I love this LA girl.
03:21 A little dab will do ya, but thanks to my mom,
03:24 I need more than a little dab.
03:26 I love Color Corrector under my eyes
03:28 because it makes the concealer go on better
03:30 and it makes the concealer last longer.
03:33 I'm putting some more of the skin tint on.
03:37 Okay, so now I add my concealer.
03:41 This is a Pat McGrath concealer.
03:42 There's nothing that Pat makes
03:44 that I am not completely obsessed in love with.
03:47 I think Olympia likes it too.
03:49 She actually plays a lot in my makeup.
03:52 So what I do is I have these mannequins for my wigs.
03:57 She takes the mannequin faces and she just makes 'em.
04:00 And so my mannequin faces are just destroyed,
04:04 but it's kind of fun.
04:05 Growing up, it was hard not to notice
04:11 that there wasn't a lot of stuff in my shade.
04:15 I have always loved the skin that I have
04:17 and I've always embraced that,
04:19 especially like 15 years ago and 10 years ago
04:22 when 40 shades didn't exist and none of that was around.
04:26 So the next step I'm gonna do is my brows.
04:28 I was a stickler about making sure it wasn't dry
04:33 because I love my brows.
04:35 I know a lot of people are like, "They're too thick."
04:38 Well, they're my brows.
04:39 I like 'em thick.
04:40 But if you do wanna shape your brows
04:46 and they're a little too thick,
04:47 I go back to my Pat McGrath's concealer.
04:49 I just do like a lighter line beneath.
04:53 So I'm contouring my brows,
04:56 which I used to do all the time when my brows were thin
05:00 to actually make 'em look and appear thicker.
05:02 And now I have to contour 'em
05:03 to make 'em look and appear thinner.
05:05 When I was younger, thin eyebrows were in.
05:11 And when I tell you I ruined my brows, I ruined 'em.
05:15 They were so thin and so I became traumatized
05:18 and I grew them out for a very long time, for years,
05:22 and I never touched them.
05:24 So on my social media, I just make it a fun place.
05:29 You know, I just try to be myself.
05:31 I've been doing, obviously, a ton of makeup videos
05:34 because that's what I love to do.
05:35 I've been loving to do makeup for so long
05:38 and for so many years.
05:39 It's just been like my thing and my vibe.
05:41 If you see me like slide off my wig,
05:43 just lean in and just say, "I feel you."
05:45 'Cause you know how it is.
05:46 You know how sometimes you need to slide that baby off.
05:49 I won't slide it off today, though.
05:51 I'm playing good.
05:52 Next, I'm gonna do a little contouring.
05:55 I love contouring and I love Fenty, everything Fenty.
05:59 I've really gotten pretty excited about using blush
06:11 on the corners of my cheek
06:13 just to bring it up a little bit higher.
06:16 In this moment right now, I like to keep my blush high,
06:18 which keeps my face happy.
06:19 All right, so I'm gonna move on to mascara.
06:21 Somehow, we've already won an award for this mascara
06:24 and I'm quite obsessed with it
06:27 because it covers each and every single lash
06:31 and it's like each individual lash gets special attention.
06:37 I named the product Win because I was thinking,
06:41 what resonates with me most?
06:43 (laughs)
06:46 Winning, right?
06:47 I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
06:48 I am not cocky at all, I promise.
06:51 I'm gonna move to highlighter on my cheeks.
06:53 I use the highlighter in the same area that I use the blush
06:57 'cause it's like having a moment.
06:58 I love the name Win because winning
07:01 isn't about just winning championships.
07:03 It's about just winning in life.
07:04 It could be winning and having a kid.
07:07 That's a huge victory.
07:08 It could be getting an A in class.
07:10 I'm gonna end on lips.
07:11 I love both of these.
07:13 I'm not sure which one to use.
07:14 I'm gonna go with this one.
07:16 So this color is called Advance.
07:19 This is also a lip and cheek product
07:22 and a little goes such a long way
07:24 that even may have been too much.
07:26 This literally, when I do my makeup like this,
07:28 it lasts the whole day.
07:30 Like I said, I can make real life runs
07:33 and go to the grocery store and go pick my kid up.
07:36 I can go to ballet and still look decent.
07:38 Yes, I take ballet classes.
07:39 Thank you very much, First Position.
07:41 That's that beauty mark.
07:43 I'm gonna lock this all in with some setting spray.
07:46 Okay, I feel good now.
07:49 I'm feeling confident.
07:50 I feel like winning.
07:51 I'm gonna go get dressed.
07:53 I'm gonna go pick up Olympia.
07:55 I might go play with the baby too.
07:57 Thank you for joining me.
07:58 I love you all.
07:59 Okay, bye Vogue.
08:00 (blows kiss)
08:03 (upbeat music)
