00:00 Hello there, my name is Jim Henson and I'm a puppeteer.
00:04 Sesame Street, the Muppets, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth.
00:11 Jim created out of innocence.
00:13 He showed people the good in all of us.
00:17 Is this a 9 to 5 job?
00:21 Yeah, it's every moment of one's life kind of job I suppose.
00:26 Why are there so many songs about rainbows?
00:32 And what's on the other side?
00:36 From a very early age he had the feeling that he was here for a purpose.
00:41 Holiday.
00:42 Characters come about from many different ways.
00:45 It was my mother's coat and a ping pong ball.
00:48 That's how it all started.
00:50 He had so many ideas and so many things he wanted to do.
00:53 His inner life must have been sparkling.
00:57 The space he gave to an expression of imagination, I see that in everything that he did.
01:04 I love you.
01:06 I love you too.
01:08 Thanks.
01:09 There was nothing that Jim didn't entertain.
01:19 And everything was getting a little bit bigger.
01:23 Becoming famous was what he wanted.
01:26 That there was an innocence getting lost.
01:29 Was going to impact his relationship with us and everything that was complex.
01:34 He wanted to do more than is humanly possible.
01:38 That idea that time could run out was just unthinkable.
01:48 If Jim was here...
01:50 I just have to thank him.
01:56 Someday we'll find the rainbow connection.
02:02 The lovers, the dreamers and me.
