00:00Gallo, Casey Thunder dot com shade. You guys again kind of close this one out in
00:05the fourth quarter executed well down the stretch. Also did some switching
00:10defensively. What did you like just about the way that you all kind of shut
00:12the door? Yeah. Um, you stay composed. Um, may plays when it needs to be made.
00:20Um, and ultimately we did enough to win. Um, that's what this game is about
00:25winning. Um, and we did the right things down the stretch. Um, for the
00:29most part of the game. Um, to give ourselves that outcome. Mark said that
00:33he sent Aaron Wiggins to the blue with sort of some homework assignments, like
00:37how to get his offensive game in with the flow of the team, cutting,
00:42slashing, driving. Like, what of all of that stuff did you see from him
00:45tonight? And what does it say about him to be able to execute on that in just a
00:49span of a few weeks? Yeah. Um, I knew from from day one, um, that weeks could
00:55hope he has game. Um,
00:58he has feel, um, he knows what to do when, um, he's good with the best one
01:02his hands and without, um, I think him going to the G, just build his
01:06confidence a little bit. Um, and like coach said, got to work on some things.
01:09Um, and now he's applying him to be a game. Um, and I expected that from him.
01:14Paris Lawson. Okay, center dot com. Wanted to ask you about your third
01:17quarter. He came out 13 points in that quarter, and that was after they kind
01:20of made that run to start kind of closing the gap there a little bit.
01:23What was your mindset mentality coming out of halftime there? Um, just be
01:28aggressive. Uh,
01:31take what the defense gives me. Um, I try to play downhill. I think I had a
01:36lot of free throws in that in that quarter as well. Um, try to play guys
01:39and chop it down. He also had a couple of really big blocks in that first half.
01:43Just defensively, it seemed like the energy was really high, especially
01:46early on in this game. How big of an emphasis was that for you guys as a
01:49whole? Um, we want to hang our hat defensively every night. Um, we know
01:54that if we get stops, we'll be a better team and give ourselves a chance in the
01:57night. Um, and I just want to come out, sit that tone. I think the rest of
02:00guys did, too. Tony Sellers, Associated Press. Do you feel the need? You know,
02:05you had that 17 point lead. They chip away, they get ahead, you immediately
02:09get back up front and then you had a couple of baskets. Do you feel the need
02:13to kind of assert yourself? Uh, you know, when things aren't going well in
02:18the course of the office, you're talking about late in the game. Yeah,
02:21absolutely. Um,
02:24but what it really just comes down to is me being aggressive whenever I get
02:27the opportunity. Um, so I came in the fourth. Um, I've seen, I saw a few
02:31things how they're playing defense. Um, while I was on the bench, I just want
02:35to come in and attack those things. Um, but yeah, for sure, I want to assert
02:39myself. And thank you for saving us from another buzzer beating finish
02:44anytime.
02:49Yeah.
02:51Sure. You passed James hard on the Thunder's all time scoring list tonight.
02:54And was that accolade mean to you?
02:59I know that, um,
03:02it's cool, I guess. Um, I don't really focus on those things. Obviously, um,
03:06I try to get better every day. Uh, but it's cool for sure.
03:12Nelson around.
03:13Yeah.
03:15Hold on. Thank you guys. That's a wrap for tonight.
