00:00 Let's go back a week and just talk about the Denver game. So obviously guys like DJ and AP, good to have them out in the field.
00:09 I think DJ, we didn't know how many reps we were going to get out of him. He got a few more than we probably anticipated.
00:17 But it was hard to get him off the field. I know a couple, one time I think he came off.
00:21 But it was good to get him back out there. Just the things that you know about him, the energy he brings.
00:26 I think there's a lot of trust right when he gets on the field, what he's going to be doing and how he's going to do it.
00:31 So that part was good. Same with AP, made a big third down fly right away.
00:36 I think that was good for him to get a hit early in the game. So that part was good.
00:42 We went in the game with the mindset that we have to slow down the run.
00:46 They had 190 yards rushing the first game I believe, somewhere around there.
00:50 So a big emphasis on that. I thought we did a pretty good job with the run game.
00:54 We just gave up some big plays. We had a red zone area.
00:57 They had a third down and an eighth. It caught the pass on a pressure that we ran.
01:03 I don't think we did a good job on sudden change. You had two sudden change opportunities.
01:09 We gave up ten points. We'd like to keep them down more than that.
01:12 Just hold them to a field goal attempt at least. They got ten points off of that.
01:16 But I think our mindset of our players, I know on the defense side, you score 20 points on offense, we have to win.
01:22 So there's more things that we can do.
01:25 In the second half we did a good job. We got the ball back to the offense.
01:29 I think they had 11 yards passing, 27 yards rushing.
01:33 So stat-wise, we still didn't do enough. We've got to get more turnovers.
01:37 We've got one in the game, but really we're competing against their defense.
01:41 What we can do and how much more we can do.
01:45 There were some plays out there and we'll get that taken care of.
01:50 As far as this week, a great challenge. The quarterback is impressive.
01:54 Didn't know much about him. We haven't seen much cross game work with him.
01:57 But when he's playing, he's active. It's amazing some of these younger quarterbacks in the league
02:03 how well they're doing. They're coming in and doing a good job.
02:05 You've seen that. And with him, his ability to extend the play.
02:09 He's a guy that will look the defense off. He'll extend plays. He'll look one way.
02:15 He'll scramble. He'll come back. He'll flip it on the run.
02:19 There's just some unconventional things that show up that as a defense, you can't really plan for.
02:26 You've just got to be on those things. He's doing a really good job.
02:30 One of the games that we saw, I know when we look at points against the Jets,
02:34 they had 29 against Cincinnati. It was 27.
02:38 When he's playing, it seems like they're scoring more points too.
02:42 So they have the ability to do that. The wide receivers is a good group.
02:45 I think they've been impressive to us as well.
02:48 Some of them are having career years for him.
02:52 And then obviously the running back is always something to deal with.
02:56 Good, fast, hard runner. His running style is unique.
03:02 And then he's the leading receiver on the team.
03:05 So they've got some good weapons. It's a big challenge for us.
