00:00 We've just caught the number 9 bus to Angering from Worthing and walked up
00:05 Dapper's Lane and now we're at Poacher's Pond. We've heard lots of birdsong on the
00:10 way, we've seen some birds that pray, it's already been nice. We're now heading out
00:14 to look for some bluebells in the woods.
00:18 We followed a straight route all the way up through the woods and really here is our
00:38 first sign of a bigger amount of bluebells. We've seen some on the way but here's the
00:45 first big display. We're starting to see more and more bluebells. Always the best ones seem
01:07 to be in the distance don't they? Look at that stream of blue, it's beautiful. We've
01:27 kept the walk pretty simple, pretty much a straight line and we met some people coming
01:32 the other way who told us there was a fantastic display of bluebells ahead and well look,
01:37 they weren't wrong were they?
01:38 Blue on the right, blue on the left, blue on the right. We've got a couple of bluebells.
02:08 Blue all around. Here I think you can really smell the bluebells, beautiful and just standing
02:24 still listening to the birds. It's really lovely.
02:48 There literally is blue as far as the eye can see.
03:13 By coming this way you get a wider view of the downs as well, really out into the distance.
03:43 This is all that's left of the clock tower at Mitchell Grove. If you want to see the
04:00 clock you can see it in Stanning.
04:04 Now here at the very end of the walk are some more bluebells. Now these are not the traditional
04:14 English bluebells, these are the Spanish bluebells.
