00:07news this week when it was
00:08revealed just sixteen of the
00:10three hundred two players that
00:12were tested for coronavirus
00:13tested positive. That is a
00:15relatively low number compared
00:17to what some executives and
00:18league officials feared that
00:20ultimately might be so it gives
00:22the league hope. That going
00:23into their protective
00:24environment their bubble they
00:26will be able to start. With
00:28players that are healthy but
00:29the question remains what will
00:32the league do if there is a
00:33significant outbreak of COVID
00:35nineteen. There is a plan in
00:37place to have players
00:38quarantined if they test
00:40positive but what happens if
00:42two or three players of one
00:43team test positive. During a

00:47or six players test positive
00:49what happens if they are marquee
00:50players from marquee teams at
00:53key points in the schedule what
00:55happens if LeBron James and
00:57Yannis Tentacoupo during an NBA
00:58finals test positive. Will the
01:00league remove them or will they
01:02choose to allow this thing to
01:04play out shelve the season
01:06temporarily and come back when
01:08everybody is ready to play. The
01:10NBA's done an excellent job of
01:11getting to this point but there
01:13still is the open question of
01:15what does the league do if a
01:17player or significant team
01:19become just ravaged by the
01:20coronavirus.
