00:05 I mean, I've seen it from when I was a little kid where I couldn't get food for myself. I went days without eating or I would have to go to school to get a slice of bread to eat.
00:16 And it's still like that. Not much has changed. And this COVID-19 is actually amplifying every single problem that we've had.
00:24 The work that I'm doing is not even close to enough to help out, but there's a lot of other organizations that are working through it.
00:31 But yeah, I've seen great things as well. South Africans always pull together in times like this.
00:36 Every single South African that I've reached out to, they've always been willing to help, giving back.
00:41 And that's one thing that we are good at in South Africa, when our backs against the wall, we come together and we help each other out.
00:47 Because we know and the rest of the world knows that this pandemic will not end until the poorest of the poorest are looked after.
00:54 They are able to stay at home and get meals each and every single day because we all want to go back to do what we do.
01:00 But there's people who have real problems. And this pandemic is affecting us, all of us, differently.
01:07 When you buy your groceries, you need to think about the other person. Can I buy an extra can?
01:11 Can I buy an extra slice of bread or a loaf of bread for somebody else?
01:14 And those have been the amazing, great things that we've seen in South Africa and across the world as well.
