00:00But see, the, no I haven't, but the thing that I see more than what the stat sheets
00:09shows is the reason I say that.
00:11Like we all see him bomb away and, you know, make some emphatic timely shots, long balls,
00:18you know, one of the balls that he had with Ben on just a busted play and a flip out as
00:23an example.
00:24But I see, you know, him being coming a better pass, so you know what I'm going to say, like
00:28the defensive side of things, I see growth there.
00:31And he's emerged to be one of our key players, you know, on a pretty good team.
00:36But his confidence is certainly the highest since I have coached him.
00:43But I say it again, driven out of more than just sort of us seeing him bomb away and make
00:47threes.
00:48Was there a level of vindication by you and even the front office bringing him back when,
00:53you know, maybe there weren't a lot of offers for him and also you, even when he had struggles
00:57continuing to play and appreciate that and rewarding him?
01:01I don't know if vindication is the word.
01:03What I do know is it's a hell of a story.
01:05It really is because he was ours.
01:08And for a time we weren't too sure if that was going to, you know, continue on.
01:14And we, because he was ours for a period of time long enough to know that he's a good
01:19person, high character, loves the game, I think that his time overseas in the summer
01:25playing for the Turkish national team where he featured a lot, I think that propelled
01:30him into coming back and really like putting his hand up quite quickly in preseason and
01:36us paying attention.
01:38The fact that we don't have like an abundance of sort of veteran wings that were like locked
01:45into a spot also helped where it was a competitive situation.
01:49You combine the two environments and to your point, he was ours.
01:53It was, it's been a timely sort of relationship that he's certainly taken advantage of.
